PTZ Assistant is a software application designed to manage the functions of IP Pan & Tilt devices, even if these functions are not exported by your Video Management Software (VMS).

PTZ Assistant works with IP Pan & Tilt devices that support ONVIF auxiliary controls.

PTZ Assistant can be installed on Windows XP or higher. The application must be installed in desktop mode by means of the supplied installation package (Setup.exe).

To add a unit to the network, you need to configure a new Administrator password. Once you have configured the password, you can search for units, select the ones you want to add, confirm the choice with the appropriate button and exit the mask.

Once you have added units to the network, you can access the auxiliary controls screen by clicking on the available units in the main screen. The list of auxiliary controls is displayed in alphabetical order, however, it can also be set up as desired via drag and drop.

You can configure the language and the position of the application window from the settings screen. Settings are applied immediately and are permanent.
