1 General information
1.1 Explanation of the symbols used in the manual
DANGER indicates a hazard with a high degree of risk, which, if not prevented, will cause
death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazard with a medium degree of risk, which, if not prevented, could
cause death or serious injury.
CAUTION describes a hazard with a low degree of risk, which could result in a slight or
moderate injury if it is not prevented.
This exclamation mark indicates possible damage to / destruction of the product, the process and/or its
surrounding area.
This sign precedes special information on practical work or a general recommendation. 
This operating manual is a component part of the machine. Therefore, suppliers of new and second hand machines are required to confirm in writing that this operating manual was supplied with the machine. This operating manual helps users to
familiarise themselves with the machine and to work with it.
The service/maintenance section contains tips on how to keep the machine fully operational for many years. The operating

1.6 General remarks
This machine enables ski- (alpine and cross-country) and snowboard-bases to be waxed, using state-of-the art and it allows
waxing of all kinds of boards because of the wax roller conception.
1.7 Advantages

Economical wax is applied directly to a heated belt which uses the correct amount of wax to effectivly penetrate the ski
base.

Waxer requires very little time to reach operating temperature.

A newly designed wax roller raises the tool life multiply compared to belts.

Cleaning rollers after changing wax or when machine is not used for a period of time is not necessary.

Speedy waxing operation

Wax finish requires no scraping or smoothing.

The running ski base is immediately ready for use.

The ideal temperature setting range is within the green
markings.
A setting above this range may only be selected in the
event of an extremely cold environment or poor voltage
supply via the mains network.
2
4.1 Machine operation
3
The unit must be perfectly clean before operation.
Risk of injury and burning!
The housing will become extremely hot in the proximity of the wax
roller. The fingers may be injured by the rotating rollers.
Always wear gloves and protective goggles.
Never touch the hot parts of the housing during operation.
Turn the temperature control back whenever the machine is temporarily not operated.
The distance of the adjusting sheet metal has to be inspected and
adapted to 3 mm (0.12 in). The preheating temperature can now be set
to these approximate values, before using the machine.
Allow 10 min. to pre-heat the wax roller. Wax is applied by rubbing the
wax block or stick against the pre-heated wax roller (Item 1).
The waxing roller stores the wax and transfers it to the snowboard (ski)
which is guided manually over the contact wheel.
Risk of injury!
If you use to much wax it maybe will squirt out.
Always wear gloves and protective goggles.
Waxjet 93
33
After pre-heating, the ideal wax roller temperature can now be set
according to the ambient air temperature and the grade or type of wax
used.
Ideally, the state (viscosity) of the wax should be somewhere between
"doughy" and "liquid".
Avoid overheating, since this may significantly lower the
life of the wax roller. Overheating can also cause excessive
smoking. 
