CARE AND MAINTENANCE Clearance To Combustibles Keep electrical cords, drapery, furniture and other combustibles at least 3 ft (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides. Cleaning Trim Clean the metal trim using a soft cloth, slightly dampened with a citrus oil-based product and buff with a soft, clean cloth. DO NOT use brass polish or household cleaners as these products will damage the metal trim. Purchase citrus oil-based products at a hardware store. REV-0 5 www.tsicustomerservice.com OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Indicator Control Panel Location When a function is changed from the control panel or remote there will be a corresponding indicator. The indicator shows the function changed and the level selected. When the function is turned off, the corresponding indicator will flash several times then fade off. FLAME To adjust the flame brightness press the FLAME button. The current flame brightness setting will be flashing on the indicator, use the UP and DOWN arrow to adjust the brightness. There are 5 brightness settings, 5 is brightest and 1 is dimmest. HEATER To turn on the heater press the HEATER button. Once pressed the heater will turn on, the indicator will also be flashing the current thermostat setting level. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to set the desired thermostat level. The thermostat setting range is 60°F - 82°F or 16°C - 28°C or always ON. NOTE: To change between °F and °C press and hold the HEATER button on the control panel for 5 seconds. TIMER To set the sleep timer press the TIMER button. Once pressed the indicator will flash the current timer setting length, use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the timer length. Timer settings are 30 minutes, 1 Hour, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H and 9H.
