How to activate the loudspeaker?
Press the **SPKR** key located on the bottom row of the phone, next to the HOLD key. Alternatively, press the [Spkr] soft key during a call.

What are the basic functions of the system-defined keys?
The system-defined keys are Hold, Transfer/Recall (XFER), LOOP, and Speaker (SPKR). Hold is used to place a party on hold while another call is made or received, Transfer/Recall (XFER) is used to transfer a call or activate a feature, LOOP is used for making and receiving calls, and Speaker (SPKR) is used for hands-free operation.
How do I adjust the volume of the phone?
The volume can be adjusted using the volume control buttons. You can adjust the volume of the ringer, speaker/handset/headset during a conversation, and background music.
How do I make a call using the speakerphone?
You can make a call hands-free by pressing the SPKR key and then dialing the number. To switch from a handset call to the speakerphone, press SPKR and then place the handset on the cradle. To switch from a speakerphone call to the handset, lift the handset.
