ArmorStart Base and Control Module Replacement
1) Remove and lockout power sources feeding the unit.
2) Turn unit disconnect switch to the “OFF” position.
3) Remove all of the quick connect cables from the Control Module.
4) Loosen the four mounting screws on the Control Module.
5) Unplug the Control Module from the Base Module by slowly pulling straight forward.
WARNING To prevent electrical shock, disconnect from power source before installing or servicing.
WARNING The drive contains high voltage capacitors which take time to discharge after removal of main supply. Before working on drive, ensure
isolation of main supply from line inputs (R, S, T [L1, L2, L3]). Wait three minutes for capacitors to discharge to safe voltage levels. Failure
to do so may result in personal injury or death. Darkened display LEDs are not an indication that capacitors have discharged to safe
voltage levels.
Removal of Control Module
*The removal of the Base Module is only required for Base Module Replacement. If only the Control Module is being replaced, skip to Step 18.
6) Remove communications, input, and output cables from the Base Module.
7) Loosen the four mounting screws on the
Terminal Access Cover Plate.
8) Remove cover plate.
