Allen-Bradley External Auxiliary Contact Adapter is designed for use with CENTERLINE 2100 Series Q…Y with Cutler-Hammer Westinghouse circuit breakers(1): HMCP150, FD, FDB, HFD, FDC, and FDB-LFD. It allows you to easily add external auxiliary contacts to your motor control center, providing you with additional control and monitoring capabilities. This adapter is compatible with both left and right hand units and is easy to install.

About The Auxiliary Contact
Adapter
Use these instructions to install an external auxiliary contact adapter in
CENTERLINE 2100 Series Q…Y with Cutler-Hammer Westinghouse circuit
breakers(1) : HMCP150, FD, FDB, HFD, FDC, and FDB-LFD.
Required Tools You need a 5/16 in. wrench or socket and a torque wrench to complete the
installation.
Install the Auxiliary Contact
Adapter
Follow these steps and refer to install the auxiliary contact adapter.
1. Verify that all power has been disconnected and turn operator handle to
the OFF/O position.
2. Verify the parts list, see Left and Right Hand Unit (2100H-N25B).
3. Remove unit from structure.
4. Refer to Left and Right Hand Unit (2100H-N25B) for correct assembly.
a. For the right hand unit, attach the external auxiliary contact assembly
to the unit partition using two #10-32 thread-rolling screws from right
to left and torque to 32 lb•in (3.6 N•m).
b. For left hand unit, attach the auxiliary contact assembly to the unit
partition by using two #10-32 thread-rolling screws from left to right
and torque to 32 lb•in (3.6 N•m).
5. Refer to Typical Arrangement - Both Positions for correct assembly of
actuator.
a. Attach actuator to bail by using two #10-32 thread-rolling screws.
b. Torque to 32 lb•in (3.6 N•m).
6. Check continuity to ensure proper operation of auxiliary contacts.
(1) These circuit breakers are available for Bulletin 2100 Series Y and earlier motor control centers.
ATTENTION: De-energize all power sources to the motor control center before
installing auxiliary contact adapter. Failure to de-energize all power sources can
result in severe injury or death.
