Calling by name

You can call by giving a name registered in the contact list. For details, refer to the

“NAVIGATION SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.

Press the talk switch.

Say “Call <contacts> <phone types>”.

In the same manner as it is displayed on the screen, “Call <contacts> <phone types>”, after saying “Call a contact” say the name, or the name and type of phone, of a contact.

For example: “Call a contact”, “John

Smith” or “Call a contact”, “Mary

Davis”, “Mobile”

Talk switch: Pressing this switch turns the voice command system on. Say a command after the beep.

Receiving a call

When a call is received, call screen is displayed with a sound.

Call screen can also be displayed on the side display.

Press on the steering wheel to talk on the phone.

To refuse to receive the call, press on the steering wheel.

When the phonebook is empty

You can transfer the phone numbers in a Bluetooth

phone to the system.

Operation methods differ between PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile) compatible and

PBAP incompatible Bluetooth

®

phones. If the cellular phone does not support either PBAP or OPP (Object Push Profile) service, you cannot transfer contacts.

Adjusting the temperature

To adjust the temperature setting, touch and slide your finger up or down on the sensor.

The temperature setting can also be adjusted by touching on the sensor.

When the temperature setting is changed, a buzzer sounds.

In dual mode, driver and passenger side temperature settings can be adjusted separately.

To turn on the “DUAL” mode, perform any of the following procedures:

Press or select “DUAL” on the air conditioning control screen.

● Select “DUAL” on the side display operation screen. (vehicles with a navigation system)

● Adjust the passenger’s side temperature setting.

The indicator comes on when the “DUAL” mode is on.

While in “DUAL” mode, the temperature of the rear air outlets is set at the right-hand side temperature setting.

Each time the switch is pressed, the intensity of the seat heater changes and the level indicator lights (amber) light as follows:

Hi (3 segments lit) → Mid (2 segments lit)

→ Lo (1 segment lit) → Off

Seat ventilators

Each time the switch is pressed, the intensity of the seat ventilator changes and the level indicator lights (green) light as follows:

Hi (3 segments lit) → Mid (2 segments lit)

→ Lo (1 segment lit) → Off

■ Seat heater timer control

To enable seat heater timer control, press and hold the driver and front passenger seat heater switches at the same time until a buzzer sounds once. If a seat heater is turned on while seat heater timer control is enabled, the intensity of the seat heater will automatically change from Hi → Mid → Lo.

The timing of the change in seat heater intensity differs depending on the temperature inside the cabin, etc. when the seat heater is operating.

To disable seat heater timer control, press and hold the driver and front passenger seat heater switches at the same time until a buzzer sounds twice.
