If SSSP rejects a request, the REJ message is accompanied by a numeric code indicating the cause:

Cause

The request was not recognised. After sending this the server will disconnect.

The SSSP version number was incorrect.

There was an error in the OPTIONS list.

SCANDATA was trying to send too much data.

The request is not permitted.
