17.5 Wireless Remote Battery Replacement Procedure

1. Turn the remote unit over and locate the battery door
(Figure A).

2. Rotate the battery door, with a coin, counterclockwise to the Open position (Figure B). When the door is unlocked it will pop up slightly.

3. Remove battery door by lifting the door upward (Figure C).

4. Replace battery using CR2430 or equivalent (Figure D).

5. Reinstall the battery cover, using the coin rotate the door to the Close position (Figure E).

Note: Remote unit is water resistant not waterproof. Although it is Fig. E designed for use while in the spa, it should never be left in the spa while the cover is on and spa is not in use. The remote should be stored in a dry location such as the stereo remote pouch (if applicable) located on the outside of the spa cover or within your home. Extreme weather can affect the remote control battery. In extreme hot or cold environments store the remote control indoors to prolong battery life.
