3.1 Thermostat Setting

The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Cooler temperatures can be obtained by rotating the knob to higher numbers, 1 to 5.

Important note: Do not try to rotate the knob beyond position 1, it will stop your appliance from working.

Thermostat settings:

1 – 2 : For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment.

3 – 4 : For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment.

5: For freezing fresh food. The appliance will work longer. Once the food is fully frozen, reset the thermostat to its original position.

If Super Switch is available:

• Set this switch to the ‘ ‘ position, except when the ambient temperature is below 16°C, such as in winter, or when the freezer temperature needs to be maintained at a lower value. In this case, turn the switch to ‘ ‘ position ON.

• Press the switch on the thermostat box to position

ON. The switch will illuminate.

• When the freezer compartment has cooled to a sufficient temperature, or in warm weather, turn the super switch off to save on electrical consumption.

• When you first switch on the appliance, allow it to operate continuously for

24 hours in order to reach operating temperature.

• During this time, do not open the door frequently or place a large quantity of food inside the appliance.

If the unit is switched off or unplugged, you must allow at least 5 minutes before restarting or plugging in the unit in order to prevent damage to the compressor.

3.2 Temperature Settings Warnings

• The ambient temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how often the door is opened affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. If required, change the temperature setting.

• It is not recommended that you operate your fridge in environments colder than

10°C in terms of its efficiency.

• When setting the thermostat, take into consideration how often the appliance doors are opened and closed, how much food is stored in the refrigerator, and the environment in which the refrigerator is located.
