CONTINENTAL EDISON CEVCSFBF is a cordless broom vacuum cleaner that can be used on hard floors, carpets, and rugs. III. BEFORE FIRST USE

IV. ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
Assembling the dust container
1. Place the cone into the dust container and match the cone pins in the grooves inside the tank.
2. Place the filter on the cone.

Assembling the motorized brush with the tube and the engine block
1. Insert the upper end of the motorized brush into the lower end of the tube until you hear a click.

V. ASSEMBLY OF ACCESSORIES
The accessories are interchangeable with the motorized brush and can be assembled at the end of the tube.
• Insert the 2-in-1 brush or crevice nozzle in the engine block housing.
The accessories can be assembled directly without the tube.
• Insert the 2 in 1 brush or crevice nozzle in the bottom end of the appliance body .
Parking position: Remove the accessories and the tube from the body of the unit and place the body of the unit and its accessories on its storage base according to the diagram below.

VI. USE OF THE DEVICE
Turn on or off
To start the vacuum, press the "on / off" button once. The device operates at speed 1
(slow suction).

Charge the battery
Before connecting the device, make sure the adapter is the right one. a. Install the body of the unit on the storage base.
b. Connect the adapter to the body of the device and to a wall outlet.
During charging, the charge indicator lights red. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator lights up in green.
When using your device regularly, allow the device to discharge completely before recharging it again.
The maximum charging time is 5 hours.

VII. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always unplug the adapter from the wall outlet before servicing or replacing any accessory.
Do not clean the vacuum cleaner, accessories with gasoline or any other flammable liquid or solvent.
Do not wash the accessories in a dishwasher.
Clean the outside surfaces of the vacuum cleaner with a dry cloth.
After cleaning, wipe any moisture off the cleaner, its components and accessories with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the dust container
− Press the unlock button to remove the tube or accessories.
− To empty the dust container, hold the tank on top of a bin, press the tank opening button to open the lid and empty it.
− The tank must be emptied as soon as the Max line is exceeded. In addition, the device loses suction and filtration efficiency.
Cleaning the dust filter
− To access the tank dust filter, press the tank unlock button.
− Take out the filter and dust it off. You can rinse it in water to clean it.
− The filter must be dusted and washed with water regularly.
− Before putting it back in place, let it air dry.

Cleaning and maintenance of the motorized brush
− To unlock the motorized brush, press the unlocking button on it.
− To release the main brush, slide the release button (1) under the motorized brush.
Then, lift the latch and remove the main brush. You can help yourself with scissors to clean the hair stuck in the brush.

VIII. FAILURE AND SOLUTION
If you have a problem with your device or think that the device is not working properly, you can perform a few simple checks before calling a technician.

Solution
Before using the appliance, check that it is fully charged, empty the dust container and clean the filter.
Check to see if the openings are clogged. Unplug and clean if necessary.
Make sure the filter is correctly installed.
Empty the dust container and clean the filter.
Unplug the unit, check for clogged hair or dirt. If necessary, remove the rotating shaft from the power brush by unlocking the latch, clean and reposition the shaft by performing the reverse procedure.
Make sure that the axle has been properly inserted into the power brush and the latch is in the locked position.
The device may need to be recharged. Connect the device to the charger. The battery indicator will turn
GREEN when charging is complete.
The motorized brush is blocked. Turn off the vacuum and remove any object blocking the brush.
