BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM

REAR FENDER

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the following:

– Brake/tail light (page 19-6)

– Battery (page 16-5)

Disconnect the turn signal light 2P (Orange and

Light blue) connectors and license light connectors.

CONNECTORS

Remove the starter relay switch and fuse boxes.

Release the wire harness from the rear fender.

FUSE BOXES

Route the wires

properly (page 1-

18).

Remove the setting spring, seat lock key cylinder and retaining washer from the rear fender.

Remove the bolts and rear fender by pulling it rearward.

Install the rear fender in the reverse order of removal.

Insert the hooks of the rear fender into the frame.
