Problem

There is too much frost and ice.

Possible cause

Many food products were put in at the same time.

The room temperature is too high.

Food products placed in the appliance were too warm.

The door is not closed cor‐ rectly.

The FROSTMATIC function is switched on.

The compressor starts after a period of time.

The compressor does not start immediately after pressing the "FROSTMAT‐

IC", or after changing the temperature.

Door is misaligned or inter‐ feres with ventilation grill.

Door does not open easily.

You attempted to re-open the door immediately after closing.

Side panels of the appliance are warm.

This is a normal state caused by operation of the heat exchanger.

The lamp does not work.

The appliance is not level‐ led.

The lamp is in stand-by mode.

The lamp is defective.

Solution

Wait a few hours and then check the temperature again.

Refer to "Installation" chap‐ ter.

Allow food products to cool to room temperature before storing.

Refer to "Closing the door" section.

Refer to "FROSTMATIC function" section.

This is normal, no error has occurred.

Refer to installation instruc‐ tions.

Wait a few seconds between closing and re-opening of the door.

Close and open the door.

The door is not closed cor‐ rectly.

The gasket is deformed or dirty.

Food products are not wrap‐ ped properly.

Temperature is set incorrect‐ ly.

Appliance is fully loaded and is set to the lowest tempera‐ ture.

Contact the nearest Author‐ ized Service Centre.

Problem

Water flows on the floor.

Possible cause

Temperature set in the appli‐ ance is too low and the am‐ bient temperature is too high.

The melting water outlet is not connected to the evapo‐ rative tray above the com‐ pressor.

Temperature cannot be set. The "FROSTMATIC func‐ tion" is switched on.

Solution

Set a higher temperature.

Refer to "Control Panel" chapter.

Attach the melting water out‐ let to the evaporative tray.

The temperature in the appli‐ ance is too low/too high.

DEMO appears on the dis‐ play.

A or or symbol is shown instead of numbers on the temperature display.

The temperature is not set correctly.

The door is not closed cor‐ rectly.

The food products' tempera‐ ture is too high.

Many food products are stor‐ ed at the same time.

The door has been opened often.

The FROSTMATIC function is switched on.

There is no cold air circula‐ tion in the appliance.

The appliance is in demon‐ stration mode.

Temperature sensor prob‐ lem.

Switch off "FROSTMATIC function" manually, or wait until the function deactivates automatically to set the tem‐ perature. Refer to "FROST‐

MATIC function" section.

Set a higher/lower tempera‐ ture.

Refer to "Closing the door" section.

Let the food products tem‐ perature decrease to room temperature before storage.

Store less food products at the same time.

Open the door only if neces‐ sary.

Refer to "FROSTMATIC function" section.

Make sure that there is cold air circulation in the appli‐ ance. Refer to "Hints and

Tips" chapter.

Keep the OK key pressed for approximately 10 seconds until a long sound is heard and the display turns off for a short time.

Contact the nearest Author‐ ized Service Centre (the cooling system will continue to keep food products cold, but temperature adjustment will not be possible).
