Troubleshooting
The fan motor continues to blow after unit is powered off.
Problem
There is no power and the logs do not glow. The unit does not have power.
E1 displayed on the control panel.
E2 displayed on the control panel.
E3 displayed on the control panel.
E4 displayed on the control panel.
The overheat protection device has been engaged.
Possible Cause
The ambient temperature sensor is broken or not working correctly.
The Child Lock function is activated.
The fan blower is not working.
This is a normal operation.
Corrective Action
Check that the unit is plugged into a standard
120 volt outlet. Then make sure power is set to the “ON” position.
Unplug the unit and wait 5-10 minutes to allow the sensor to reset itself. Plug the unit back in and turn on the heater. If the problem persists, call customer service.

To deactivate the Child Lock function, hold the Lock button for 3 seconds.
