Installation

Pushing the wine conditioning unit into the building-in niche

Take care not to damage the electrical connection whilst pushing the wine conditioning unit into the building-in niche.

If you are installing several appliances side by side, secure the wine conditioning units/refrigeration appliances to one another now (see the installation instructions for the side-by-side installation kit).

To ensure that the wine conditioning unit can then be aligned correctly, the plinth must be removed from the appliance base.

 Carefully guide a flat-head screwdriver through the grate in the plinth   on both sides and use it to push the internal plastic latches outwards to release the plinth.

 Place the plinth to one side.

 Affix edge protection   to the adjacent furniture fronts.

 Insert the plug connector at the back of the wine conditioning unit (see

“Electrical connection” in “Installation”).

 Insert the plug   into the socket.

The electrical socket should be close to the wine conditioning unit and easily accessible.

 Risk of damage due to electrical overload.

If the wine conditioning unit is electrically overloaded, this can cause a short circuit and therefore damage to your appliance.

When you install appliances side by side, each appliance must have its own separate electrical socket.

Tip: Secure the power cable to prevent it becoming caught: tie a piece of string to the middle of the power cable and as the wine conditioning unit is being pushed into the niche, pull the cable forward underneath the appliance.

 Push the wine conditioning unit into the building-in niche.

 If the wine conditioning unit cannot be pushed into the building-in niche

(because the floor is uneven, for example), unscrew the rear feet slightly

(see “Aligning the wine conditioning unit” in “Installation”) and slide the appliance into the niche.

 Remove the edge protection   from the adjacent furniture fronts.
