Below you will find brief information for cordless phone KX-TG2237S. The KX-TG2237S cordless phone offers pulse-or-tone dialing capability with Caller ID compatible functions, enabling you to view caller names and numbers on the handset display. You can also store up to 30 callers' information in the caller list, call back directly from the list, and store caller information in the directory. How to use the Navigator key
This key has four active areas that are indicated by arrows.
CH EDIT
•Pressing the up or down arrow allows you to enter the
Caller List and scroll through the function menu, the
Caller List and the directory list. It is also used to adjust the handset ringer and receiver/speaker volumes.
•Pressing the right or left arrow allows you to enter the directory list and move the cursor when entering items.
The right arrow is used to select or confirm your menu choices and to edit a phone number of the Caller List into one of 3 patterns.
The left arrow is used to select a clearer channel.
Throughout this Operating Instructions, the navigator key is indicated by the arrows Ö, Ñ, Ü or á.

Installing the Battery in the Handset
Insert the battery into the handset as shown (#), matching the correct polarity. Press the battery down until it places into the compartment ($).
When finished, close the cover.

Battery Charge
Place the handset on the base unit and charge for about 15 hours before initial use.

high humidity. Otherwise the battery may not charge properly.
•If the battery is fully charged, you do not have to place the handset on the base unit until “Recharge” is displayed and/or “ ” flashes. This will maximize the battery life.
•The battery cannot be overcharged.
