7.1 RESET OPERATION
This operation restores the printer to the initial status.
• Sample operation
Power On
O N L I N E
Press the [PAUSE] key.
P A U S E
Press and hold the [RESTART] key for at least 3 seconds.
< 1 > R E S E T
Press the [PAUSE] key.
O N L I N E
The printer is in stand-by or printing.
The printer enters the pause state.
A reset menu is displayed.
The printer is restored to the initial state.
NOTES:
1. If the [RESTART] key is released within 3 seconds in the pause state, the printer will resume printing without displaying the reset menu.
2. If the [RESTART] key is released within 3 seconds in the error state, the printer will remain in error. However, in case of a communication error or command error, the printer will restore to the initial status.

Receive buffer data of RS-232C I/F, Centronics I/F, Network I/F, and BASIC Interpreter are dumped in this mode. Communication data and Network connection can be checked.

Press the [PAUSE] key.

The printer enters the pause state.
Press and hold the [RESTART] key for at least 3 seconds.
A reset menu is displayed.

A dump mode menu is displayed.
Press the [PAUSE] key.

Select receive buffer with the [FEED] key or [RESTART] key.
