Planning the electric power supply
□
Plan your electric power supply. A 15 amp, 120 volt circuit is required for this electric fireplace insert. A dedicated circuit is preferred but not essential in all cases. A dedicated circuit will be required if after installation, the circuit breaker or fuse trips. Additional appliances may exceed the current rating of the circuit breaker or fuse.
□
Install an outlet into the existing fireplace. If an outlet is not installed into the existing fireplace the power cord can also run along the front of the hearth to an outlet near the fireplace.
