The Levelflex FMP55 is a premium device with a coated multiparameter probe for interface measurement in the oil & gas, chemical and power industries. This device is designed for safe and reliable measurement both for the interface layer and the overall level by a redundant measuring system. The Levelflex FMP55 is factory precalibrated and features a menu-guided operating concept in national languages for intuitive operation and easy integration into control or asset management systems. It also comes with advanced diagnostics and approvals for various hazardous areas.

Certificates and approvals

The measuring system meets the legal requirements of the applicable EC guidelines. These are listed in the corresponding EC Declaration of Conformity together with the standards applied.

Endress+Hauser confirms successful testing of the device by affixing to it the CE mark.

The measuring system meets the EMC requirements of the "Australian Communications and Media Authority

(ACMA)".

The devices are certified for use in hazardous areas and the relevant safety instructions are provided in the separate "Safety Instructions" (XA) document. Reference is made to this document on the nameplate.

The pressure retaining material 316L (1.4435/1.4404) corresponds to AD2000 - W2/W10.

Complies with part 15 of the FCC rules for an unintentional radiator. All probes meet the requirements for a

Class A digital device.

In addition, all probes in metallic tanks as well as the coax probe meet the requirements for a Class B digital device.

Some device versions have CRN approval. For a CRN-approved device, a CRN-approved process connection has to be ordered with a CSA approval.
