How do I preheat the scan tip?

For systems with external heater, place the hand held in the mount and wait until light turns off. For systems with integrated heater in the tip, simply wait until heat indication reaches 100%.

How do I apply a scanner tip?

Apply a clean scanner tip to the TRIOS scanner. Do not apply pressure to the sides of the tip.

How do I scan a full arch?

When scanning a full arch, you can start scanning the second bite when prompted. The scans are aligned automatically.

How do I take HD photos?

Press the HD Photo button to take high-resolution photos of the patient's teeth and gums. These photos can be used to document the case and discuss it with the patient.

How do I measure shades?

TRIOS captures shades as you scan. For best results, your dental lamp should be off during scanning. Scan from multiple angles to even out discolorations and shadows.
