ADTRAN U-BR1

ADTRAN U-BR1 is an access module designed to be plugged into a single channel slot of a Total Access 1500 chassis, providing an ISDN U-interface, allowing the transport of Basic Rate 2B+D information over T1 carriers. With a nominal range of 18kft in mixed gauge wire, it features an ISDN 2B1Q interface and supports internal testing of individual B channels. It also offers all Layer 1 maintenance functions and provides repeater powering and DDS IDSL support. The U-BR1TE operates as defined by either the onboard switches (local provisioning) or the system controller menu settings (remote provisioning). The operational mode can be changed via the front panel AP (Alternate Provisioning) switch.
