Where should I mount the Diplexer?
Select a dry, convenient location at least 1m (3') from other cables and electronic equipment
How do I connect the transducer cable to the Diplexer?
Push the transducer cable through the compression nut, strip the wires, connect them to the terminal block according to the labels, and tighten the compression nut.
How do I route the cables?
Route the transducer cable from the transducer to the Diplexer and the fishfinder cable from the fishfinder to the Diplexer. Do not connect the cables or fasten them in place at this time.
What tools and materials do I need for installation?
You'll need safety goggles, a dust mask, a pencil, an electric drill, a 3mm or 1/8” drill bit, grommets, deck glands, Phillips screwdrivers, heat-shrink tubing, slip-joint pliers, petroleum jelly, and cable ties.
