How to program alarms on a K48 instrument?
Access configuration mode and modify alarm parameters. Alarm configuration is password-protected (level 3).
How to perform a reading correction on a K48 instrument?
For linear inputs, adjust parameters '[4] SSc' (Initial scale read-out) and '[5] FSc' (Full scale read-out). Temperature input calibration follows EN 60751/A2 (for RTD Pt100) and EN 60584-1 (for thermocouples). RTD Pt100 line resistance compensation is automatic (up to 20Ω/wire, with a maximum error of ±0.1% of the input range). For thermocouples, use appropriate (preferably shielded) compensation cable.
