Frequently Answers and Questions
How do I clean the lint filter?
The lint filter should be cleaned after each load. To clean the lint filter, lift it from the holder in the door, open it, and remove the lint. You can use a damp sponge and a small amount of washing-up liquid to remove any deposits. Dry the filter thoroughly with a towel. Close the lint filter and put it back in the door. Close the lint filter before closing the door.
How do I reverse the door?
To reverse the door, remove the toe kick and the hinge. Lift the door up and remove it. Support the door while doing this. Remove both door pins (top and bottom) and fit them on the other side of the machine. Replace the hinge. Loosen and remove the catch and the cover plate on the door and the machine. Switch the catch and the cover plate. Move the plastic plugs on the upper and lower edges of the door. Refit the door by loosening the hinge screws slightly, affixing the door, and closing it. Retighten the hinges. Replace the toe kick.
What if the drying takes too long?
Check that the lint filter is not blocked. See the "Care and maintenance instructions" chapter.
How do I connect the exhaust duct to the dryer?
You will need to purchase a UL-CSA-approved 4" ridged metal exhaust duct. To connect the exhaust duct to the rear outlet, push the duct onto the stub pipe and secure it with a clamp. With the duct attached, insert the stub pipe into the hole. It should snap into place. After you push the dryer into place, check for kinks in the duct.
What are the electrical requirements for the dryer?
The dryer requires a 30A circuit. The power supply cord must be grounded. If the machine is to be used in a wet area, the supply must be protected by a residual current device. Connection to a permanently wired supply point must be made only by a qualified electrician. As supplied: Single-phase, 230 V, 60 Hz, 3000W heater rating 30 A circuit required
