Asus WiFi-b is an easy-to-use wireless solution for desktop PCs. Compliant with the IEEE 802.11b standard, the WiFi-b card gives you freedom to connect to a wireless network and the Internet without wires and cables. Asus WiFi-b employs the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) technology, and it is capable of transmitting and receiving signals through radio waves on the 2.4 GHz band. It ensures reliable data transfer rates of up to 11Mbps with automatic fallback to 5.5, 2, and 1Mbps, while also featuring secure data transmission via Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption.
