What are the ways to administer a bolus with this pump?
There are three ways: Manual Bolus (press and hold the bolus button), Bolus with Volume Preselection (set a dose limit before starting), and Bolus with Rate Calculation (set a dose and time for the pump to calculate the rate). The bolus unit can also be selected.

How should the Infusomat® Space be cleaned and disinfected?
Clean the external surface using mild soap suds, avoiding spraying near the mains connection. Use recommended wiping disinfectants, such as Meliseptol® Foam pure or Melsept SF 10%. Detailed procedures exist for the line guide element and peristalsis. Do not use Hexaquart® or any other alkylamine-containing disinfectants.

How is the Infusomat® Space pump fully powered off?
To fully power off the device, ensure the infusion line is removed, then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds while the countdown bar completes. If an infusion line is still inserted, the pump will only enter standby mode instead of shutting down.

What to do if the pump door cannot be closed to begin infusion?
If you are unable to close the pump door, press the stop button, then the open button. Press down the green opening lever completely until it locks in place, remove the line and insert a new line. In some cases, use the crank from inside the battery compartment cover to remove the emergency aperture cover. Place the crank in the aperture and turn clockwise until the pump door opens.
What to check if the pump door still won't close after trying the initial steps?
Ensure the line is properly inserted into the sensors, especially the air-sensor. Confirm that the freeflow clamp is correctly inserted into the opened aperture until the opening lever locks in place and the safety clamp squeezes the line, causing the flashing signal lamp to go out.
