Frequently Answers and Questions
How do I adjust the grind size?
You can adjust the grind size using the Macro and Micro adjustment levers. The Macro lever adjusts the overall grind size, while the Micro lever fine-tunes the grind size. Moving the Macro lever UP produces a smaller particle size and DOWN produces a larger particle size. The Micro lever has a range equal to one click on the Macro lever.
How do I program the dosing times?
The VARIO™ has three programmable dosing times, labeled 1, 2, and 3. You can adjust the grind time for each button by pressing the up or down arrow below the LCD display. Once you have reached the desired time setting, press and hold the corresponding button for 3 seconds. The time shown in the LCD display will blink to confirm the setting is stored.
How do I clean the burrs?
The burrs should be cleaned every few weeks. To clean the burrs, use a stiff brush to remove any loose coffee residue. Do not wash the burrs.

How to resolve a grinder motor binding or burrs being stuck?
Empty the hopper and run the grinder to clear coffee. Verify the upper burr is locked fully counterclockwise. If the issue persists, perform a calibration using a 2mm Allen wrench while the motor is running, adjusting the internal screw until the burrs are correctly positioned.

What information does the grinder display provide regarding grind size and dosing?
The LCD display functions as a grind time indicator, showing the programmed time in seconds and reflecting changes during dose adjustment. It does not show the physical grind size, as that is controlled manually via adjustment levers.
