How often should I empty the dirt bucket?

It is recommended to empty the dirt bucket when it is half full. A general rule is to empty the dirt receptacle twice a year… in spring and in fall.

How do I reset the automatic shut-off timer?

The shut-off timer is easily reset by turning the power unit on by way of the on/off button on your hose handle or on the power unit.

What should I do if I experience a total loss of suction?

Check to ensure central vacuum is plugged into an electrical outlet. Check fuses or breakers in your homes electrical panel. If you have good suction at the unit, but no suction in the hose then there is a clog in the pipes or hose. To remove the clog, refer to step 2 above or call your local authorized dealer/distributor.

How do I change the HEPA filter?

Open HEPA filter door with button located on the side, center of door. Press down on the tab at top of filter and pull outwards, (discard filter). Insert New HEPA filter aligning and leading with the two plastic tabs at bottom of cavity. Snap upright into place. Close HEPA door without force. If the door does not close easily, remove and reinstall filter (Figure 7).
