The Electro-Technic Products BD-20A and BD-20AV High Frequency Generators are designed to produce a high voltage, high frequency spark at the tip of an electrode. This spark can be used for a variety of applications, including checking the quality of a vacuum in a tube or vacuum system, starting gas discharge tubes, detecting minute cracks and fissures in materials such as tank linings, and mixing small amounts of liquids quickly and without contamination. The generators are housed in durable Bakelite cases and are provided with a 6 ft. (1.8m) cord to permit ample movement over the work surface.
