For cladding both Dry Wall and Pre Wall installations we recommend the use of 1 x 12.5 mm moisture and fire resistant plasterboard or 2 x 12.5 mm standard plasterboard.
What is the purpose of the system rail in Duofix pre-wall systems?
The addition of system rail offers a more integrated look and simplifies cladding and tiling. It also allows for Duofix frames to be installed against plasterboard stud walls. Plasterboard must be at least 18 mm thick.
