What troubleshooting steps should be taken if the headset experiences echo or screeching?

Ensure that Echo Cancel and Inbound/Outbound Noise Cancel features are enabled. Verify that the Master Inbound and Outbound volume levels are not set excessively high (suggested starting points are 13 for Inbound and 15 for Outbound). Confirm the microphone setting is configured to DM5 with the Distance set to 0 - 4ft, and ensure the user is not standing directly under a loud ceiling speaker playing inbound audio.
