Learning Resources Math Diction

Learning Resources LER 2019 is a math vocabulary game for 4 or more players aged 7 and up that helps them earn points by correctly guessing math vocabulary words. The game includes 120 math vocabulary cards divided into three levels of difficulty, a spinner, a minute timer, two sketch boards, a score pad, two markers, and 20 blank cards for creating custom word lists. To play, players divide into two teams and take turns spinning the spinner to determine the method of describing the vocabulary word to their team. The team has 60 seconds to guess the word based on the reader's description. If they guess correctly, they earn a point and take another turn. The first team to reach 10 points wins the game. Alternative gameplay allows players to create their own list of math words using the blank cards. The write-on/wipe-off sketch boards should only be used with the included markers or other wet-erase markers to avoid permanent marks.
