Frequently Answers and Questions

How do I configure Messenger to use a specific fax server?

In System Configuration, you can choose the fax server you want to use. We currently support Symantec WinFax PRO, Microsoft Fax Transport, and most commercial fax servers with Outlook Add-In clients.

What is the difference between New, Rerun, and Recreate jobs?

New jobs are for orders and invoices that have never been printed. Rerun jobs are for orders and invoices that have been printed but not posted. Recreate jobs are for orders and invoices that have already been printed and posted. Recreate jobs are sent to a local printer via a standard Print Dialog box, and only the first ply is reprinted.

How do I archive forms using Messenger?

In System Configuration, you can specify a directory/folder for each company dataset and for each form. Messenger will then create an electronic copy of the form in that directory using a simple file name convention.
