How do I switch between channels on the MG10 amplifier?
On the MG10, you can switch between the Clean and Overdrive channels using the CHANNEL SWITCH (3) on the front panel. A green LED indicates the Clean channel, and a red LED indicates the Overdrive channel.
What happens when I connect headphones to my MG Gold amplifier?
When headphones are connected to the HEADPHONE OUT (MG10) or HEADPHONE SOCKET (MG15FX, MG30FX, MG50FX), the internal speaker of the amplifier is automatically muted, allowing for silent practice.
How do I restore my MG Gold amplifier to factory settings?
To restore to factory settings, hold the Store switch (12 on MG15/30FX, 19 on MG50FX) while powering on the unit. The Clean/Crunch and OD-1/OD-2 lights will light orange, then you can release the Store switch. Note that this will erase all user channel presets and footcontroller allocations.
How do I activate the tuner function on MG15FX, MG30FX, or MG50FX models with the optional footcontroller?
On MG15FX and MG30FX, hold both the Tap switch (10) and the Store switch (12) on the front panel. On MG50FX, hold both the Damping switch (17) and the Store switch (19). Alternatively, the tuner can be assigned to a footswitch on the optional footcontroller, and it is factory-assigned to Footswitch number 4.
What is the purpose of the FX control on the MG15FX, MG30FX, and MG50FX amplifiers?
The FX control (11 on MG15/30FX, 12 on MG50FX) selects and adjusts one of five digital effects: Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Delay, and Octave. Turning the knob clockwise increases speed for some effects or level for Delay, while turning it fully clockwise engages the Octave effect.

How to use the tuner on the MG30GFX?
To use the tuner on the MG30GFX, follow these steps: 1. Activate Tuner Mode: Simultaneously press the Tap (10) and Store (12) switches on the front panel, or assign the tuner to a footswitch. 2. Tune: Once in tuner mode, the device will mute, and the Clean/Crunch (3) and OD-1/OD-2 (5) switches will light up yellow. The digital display (3) will indicate the closest note being played. The LED status panel (2) will show how far off the current note is from the closest correct note. When the center FX status LED illuminates, the pitch is correct, and the other LEDs will progressively indicate if the pitch is up to 50 cents too high or too low. 3. Exit Tuner Mode: Press any footswitch, and the amplifier will exit tuner mode and return to the previous settings.
