With the chain as illustrated, move the shift lever inboard as far as possible (A) and then release. Rotate the cranks (B) to upshift to the large chainring. Use the barrel adjusters (C) to add cable tension until the chain upshifts smoothly.
How do I adjust the high limit screw for my rear derailleur?
With the chain as illustrated, hold the shift lever inboard as far as possible (A) while you turn the high limit screw (B) in or out until it lightly contacts the inner link tab (C), then turn the high limit screw until there is 1 mm of clearance between the inside of the outer derailleur cage plate and the chain (D). Release the shift lever.
