The Sartorius Fieldbus Interface is a software interface for Sartorius Indicators and Complete Scales. This interface allows you to connect your scales to a fieldbus network, such as Profibus or Modbus/TCP. The interface provides a variety of functions, including reading and writing data, taring, and setting the scale to zero. The interface works with an 8-byte write window and an 8-byte read window for each scale. The first four bytes are used to write a data value. The data or parameter type is described in byte 5. Using the menu, you can select the desired fieldbus protocol, network address, and data protocol. You can also configure the use of application data, which allows you to initialize applications such as checkweighing or counting.
