Go to Config->GPS->GPS Status Information and check the "Receiver" number and "Version" as shown. The update should only be used when the "Receiver" is 6 or 7 and the Version is reported as 010016, 010102, or 010105.

Using the wrong file will not damage the console, but it will also not update the receiver information.

Units shipped after approximately March 18, 2014, will already be running firmware 010201 (v1.201).
