What are the differences between the T200, R200 and U200 series?
The T200 series supports time synchronization, while the R200 series does not. The U200 series is an unmanaged switch, while the T200 and R200 series are managed switches.
What is FRNT protocol and how does it work?
FRNT (Fast Ring Network Technology) is a Westermo proprietary protocol for providing network redundancy. It creates a ring topology where all the switches communicate with each other in a loop. If one of the links fails, the network automatically recovers and traffic continues to flow.
How can I configure the switch using the IP configuration software?
The IP configuration software is a tool that allows you to configure the switch's IP address, network settings, and other parameters. You can download the software from the Westermo website.
What are the mounting options for the switch?
The switch can be mounted on a DIN rail, in a 19-inch rack, or on a wall.
How can I use the front panel LEDs and push buttons to configure the switch?
The front panel LEDs provide indication on the status of each port. In addition, each port can be manually configured for speed, duplex and auto-negotiation can also be set from the push button panel.
