How to enroll a new user?

You need to have Enroller, Manager, or Supervisor status to enroll users. The process involves identifying yourself using your existing ID number or fingerprint and then selecting 'Enroll User' from the menu. You can then choose to enroll the user by fingerprint, password, or a combination of both. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the enrollment process.

How do I verify my identity using the F4 PLUS?

The system provides three ways to verify your identity: Fingerprint verification, Password verification, and ID number & Fingerprint verification. Choose the method you prefer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification procedure.

What are the different access options available?

Access options allow you to set unlocking time zones and combinations for registered users. You can define time zones for a week, divide users into groups, and set different locking combinations. The system also allows you to define a time duration for the lock drive and specify a delay time before the alarm is activated. The Duress option can be used to send out an automatic alert if a registered user is forced to unlock the door.

How do I clean the optical platen?

First, blow on the platen to remove any loose particles. Then, spray a light coating of window cleaning product or similar neutral detergent. Use a non-abrasive and lint-free cloth to pat dry. Be careful not to scratch the platen. If lint particles adhere to the platen surface, remove them when the platen is dry.
