How do I start the Tennant 800 scrubber dryer?
Make sure the directional pedal is in neutral and your foot is on the brake pedal. Turn the ignition key clockwise until the engine starts. Allow the engine and hydraulic system to warm up for three to five minutes. Release the parking brake and select the Fast engine speed. Drive the machine to the area to be swept.
How do I empty the hopper on the Tennant 800 scrubber dryer?
Slowly drive the machine to the debris site or container. Raise the hopper to the desired height. Drive the machine up to the debris container. Pull and hold the hopper rollout lever into the Out position. Lower the hopper into the debris container to control dust. Pull and hold the hopper door lever into the Open position. Raise the hopper enough and/or close the hopper door to clear the top of the debris container. Slowly back the machine away from the debris site or container. Push and hold the hopper door lever into the Close position. Push and hold the hopper rollout lever into the In position. Push and hold the hopper lift lever in the Down position.
How do I use the vacuum wand on the Tennant 800 scrubber dryer?
Stop the machine within reach of the area to be vacuumed and set the parking brake. Turn off the vacuum fan. Turn off and lift the main brush and side brush(es). Open the forward hopper access door and engage the lift arm. Remove the vacuum plug from the vacuum adaptor tube in front of the hopper. Remove the vacuum wand and hose from the mounting clips and assemble them together. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum adaptor tube in front of the hopper. Close the vacuum door. Turn on the vacuum fan. Vacuum the area as needed. When done vacuuming, turn off the vacuum fan. Open the vacuum door. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum adaptor tube in front of the hopper. Disassemble the vacuum hose assembly and place back onto the hopper in the mounting clips. Replace the vacuum plug into the vacuum adaptor tube in front of the hopper, disengage the lift arm and close the forward hopper access door.
