How do I install the software for DISCOVER DJ?
Insert the included software CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive, open its contents, and double-click 'Cross – Discover DJ #.exe' (Windows) or 'Cross – Discover DJ #.dmg' (Mac) to begin the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I connect the DISCOVER DJ to my computer?
Connect DISCOVER DJ's attached USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. It is recommended to use a USB port on the rear panel of your computer if possible.
What is the difference between Scratch Mode and Search Mode for the JOG WHEELS?
In Scratch Mode (when the SCRATCH LED is lit), moving the JOG WHEEL scratches the track. In Search Mode (when the LED is not lit and the deck is paused), it searches through the track. If the deck is playing in Search Mode, it will bend the pitch of the track.
What does the SYNC button do?
Pressing the SYNC button automatically matches the tempo and aligns the beats of the track on that deck with the track on the opposite deck.
How do I use the CUE button?
Pressing CUE returns the track to the Cue Point and pauses it. If no Cue Point is set, it defaults to the beginning of the track. Holding CUE starts playback, and releasing it returns to the Cue Point and pauses.
