The 7160-0350 Vehicle Base is a no drill solution to mount Gamber Johnson product. The system allows two positions for the DS-Step to locate the lower pole in the optimum position.

Tools Needed:

1/2-in Socket

9/16-in Socket

Installation

1.

Remove the caps from the top of the passengers front leg trim (figure 1).

2.

Use a ½-in socket to remove the bolts on the front of the passenger seat legs (figure 1).

3.

Slide the 7160-0350 Vehicle Base under the passenger seat aligning the slots in the base with the bolt holes in the frame (figure 2).

4.

Slide the base towards the center of the vehicle and secure it and the passenger seat with the bolts removed in step 2 above (figure 2).

5.

Insert the trim caps removed in step 1 above.

6.

Use a 9/16-in socket to secure the DS-Step to the top of the base in the desired hole pattern (figure 3).
