Unit to be Electrolux Thawing cabinet 180 lt - 47.5 gal capacity. The thawing process of the cabinet is able to retain the freshness of the pre-frozen products thanks to a unique combination of high airflow, low temperature steaming and precise control monitored by an external thermometer. Once thawing process brings product to the set value, the cabinet switches automatically from thawing mode to the refrigeration mode. Fresh thawed products lose no more than five percent of weight, keeping its natural elasticity, humidity, colour, tase and nutritional values. Unit to feature semi automatic bactericidal/cleaning cycle consisting in a low temperature steam spreading throughout the cabinet. Main structure constructed in stainless steel with smooth sides and rounded corners. HACCP compliant.

Main Features

Automatic refrigeration after the optimized automatic defrosting process while thawing process is controlled by an electronic thermometer.

Improved controls lead to a reduction in defrosting and planning times.

Food weight loss reduction of up to 50% compared to traditional defrosting systems.

Thawing times reduced by up to 80%, from two to twelve hours depending on product thickness and water content.

Semi automatic bactericidal cycle begins when the cabinet temperature reaches a temperature of 85 °C.

Maximum weight of defrosting food is 45 kg.

Unit equipped with removable container racks for 6 GN 1/1 baskets/containers.

Construction

• Easy-to-use and reliable control panel: indicates the temperature of the cabinet during the thawing process. Fully programmable, gives the possibility to set target temperature.

Optional baskets conceived for larger foods such as steaks, meat and/or fish fillets.

Optional containers designed to fit smaller foods such as prawns, berries, diced and sliced meat.

Front, top, back and side panels entirely constructed in stainless steel.

Substantial space saving.

Hygienic shape with rounded corners.

• Drain fitted with a pump which collects condensation to the main drain.

• Meets HACCP requirements.
