POWER SUPPLY:

CR-A58 operates on AC 110V/60Hz or

AC 220V/50Hz household mains supply.

Before connecting to the power supply, ensure that the rated voltage of this unit matches

your local voltage. And slide the switch inside the battery compartment to choose

220V/50Hz or 110V/60Hz correctly.

Warning: Disconnect the mains plug from the power supply socket when it is not in use.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover of the apparatus. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.

BATTERY BACK-UP

The 9V type 006P battery is to be put in the battery compartment for clock back-up

(not for radio operation) purpose in case of power failure or breakdowns. Replace the battery every six months for the best performance. Remove the battery

if the player will not be in use for a long period of time.

RADIO OPERATION:

1. To turn radio on, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "ON" position.

2. Select AM or FM from AM/FM switch.

3. Adjust the volume control to the desired volume level.

4. Turn the tuning control to the desired radio station.

5. To turn radio off, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.

CLOCK SETTING

1. To set hour, while holding the CLOCK button, press H TIME until the desired hour is displayed. Then, release both buttons.

2. To set minute, while holding the CLOCK button, press TIME M until the desired minute is displayed. Then, release both buttons.

WAKE TO RADIO OR BUZZER

1. Select the desired radio station and volume level.

2. To set alarm, while holding the ALARM button, press H TIME to set

hour and TIME M to set minute.

3. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" position. The alarm

indicator will be lit up. And the radio will be turned on to wake you

up at the preset time.

4.To wake to buzzer,turn the VOLUME/BUZZER CONTROL to "BUZZER" positon.

5.To turn alarm off, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.

SNOOZE TO REPEAT ALARM

1. When alarm is turned on , it will be temporarily off by pressing

SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF button. Approximately 7 minutes later, it will be on again.

This operation cycle will be repeated up to five times within an hour, and then

automatically release the wake up function.

2. To cancel the snooze operation, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.

SLEEP TO RADIO

1. Select the desired radio station and volume level.

2. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" or "OFF" position.

3. Press SLEEP button and clock display will show 59 minutes as default sleep period.

4. The sleep period can be reduced as desired by pressing the TIME M button while

holding the SLEEP button.

5. The sleep period can also be set up to 1 hour and 59 minutes by pressing the

H TIME button while holding the SLEEP button.

6. Radio will be on for the desired period and then off automatically.

7. To turn radio off before the preset time out, just simply press the

SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF button.

SLEEP AND WAKE TO RADIO

1. Select your desired radio station and volume level.

2. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" position.

3. Set the desired wake-up time and sleep period as described above.

4. Radio will be turned on at the preset wake-up time, and keep playing

before the preset sleep period out, then automatically turned off.

Enclose $6.00 for each item in the form of money order made payable to COBY ELECTRONICS CORP. to cover the cost of shipping and handing.
