Sure, some people simply can’t live without an extensive AV system with separate components. Others prefer to keep things compact and simple.

The new Tangent MCS-650 is just the ticket for the latter group.

This mini-DVD system is a compact collection of components. The built-in

DVD player plays DVD and DivX formats, and offers Dolby Digital and DTS sound outputs. Speaker and subwoofer outputs allow you to create a 2.1 channel sound solution. Great stereo sound is also provided through CDaudio playback. An integrated 3-in-one card reader and a USB connection give you access to music on a variety of media and devices.

A HDMI interface sends top-quality digital sound and picture to your television set through only a single cable. What’s more, the built-in FM tuner lets you listen in to your preferred radio programmes as well.
