Die Ventilatoren entsprechen dem Stand der
Technik und erfüllen die grundlegenden
Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsanforderungen der EG - Maschinenrichtlinie.
Die Ventilatoren bieten ein hohes Maß an
Betriebssicherheit und einen hohen
Qualitätsstandard, der durch ein zertifiziertes
Qualitätsmanagement-System (EN ISO
9001), begleitet durch ein Umweltmanagement-System, gewährleistet wird.
Alle Ventilatoren werden vor Verlassen des
Werkes einer Kontrolle unterzogen und mit einem Prüfsiegel versehen.
Von jedem Ventilator können jedoch Gefahren ausgehen,
• wenn er nicht von ausgebildeten Personal installiert, betrieben und gewartet wird.
• wenn er nicht zum bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch eingesetzt wird.
Dadurch entstehen Gefahren für Leib und
Leben des Personals, es drohen
Sachschäden an Anlage und Gebäude und der Produktnutzen wird beeinträchtigt.
Important information
The fans are made to the latest technological standards and meet the fundamental requirements for health and safety in the EG machinery directive.
The fans provide a high level of operational safety and a high standard of quality which is guaranteed by a certified quality management system (EN ISO 9001) and complemented by an environmental management system.
All fans pass though a quality control system before leaving the factory and are given a test seal.
All fans, however, are potential sources of danger,
• if they are not installed, operated and serviced by qualified personnel.
• if they are not used as intended.
The above may cause danger to personnel and can result in damage to plant and buildings. Product performance may also be impaired.
Attention!
This operating manual must be read and followed by all personnel instructed to work on the fan.
Informations importantes
Les ventilateurs répondent au standard actuel de la technique, aux prescriptions sur la sécurité et la santé de la EG pour la construction de machines.
Les ventilateurs offrent une grande sécurité de fonctionnement et un niveau de qualité
élevé, obtenu grâce à un système de management qualité certifié (EN ISO 9001), complété par un système de management de la qualité de l’environnement.
Avant de quitter l’usine tous les ventilateurs sont soumis à un contrôle qualité. Une
étiquette en atteste.
Chaque ventilateur peut toutefois présenter des risques,
• s’il est installé, asservi, entretenu par du personnel non qualifié.
• s’il est utilisé pour des applications pour lesquelles il n’est pas conçu.
Ceci engendre des dangers pour le personnel et des risques de détérioration des installations et des bâtiments et l’intérêt du produit s’amenuise.

3. Technische
3.1
Produktbeschreibung
Die Dachventilatoren sind zur Absaugung staubfreier Luft und sonstigen nicht aggressiven Gasen oder Dämpfen geeignet.
Die Dachventilatoren sind aus korrosionsbeständigem Aluminium oder verzinktem Stahlblech gefertigt.
Baureihe RDD
Radial Dachventilator, horizontal ausblasend, mit Einbaumotor.
Alle Dachventilatoren werden anschlussfertig geliefert und sind auf der Austrittseite mit einem Berührungsschutzgitter entsprechend
DIN EN ISO 13857 abgesichert.
Die Eintrittseite ist serienmäßig ohne
Schutzgitter.
Besteht durch die Art des Einbaus die
Gefahr einer Berührung des Laufrades, so ist eintrittsseitig ein Schutzgitter entsprechend DIN EN ISO 13857 (als
Zubehör erhältlich) anzubringen
Product description
The roof fans are suitable for extracting dust free air and other non aggressive gases or vapours.
The roof fans are made from rust proof aluminium or galvanised sheet steel.
RDD series
Centrifugal roof fan, horizontal exhaust, with integral motor.
All roof fans are delivered ready for connection and are protected on the outlet side with a guard in accordance with DIN EN
ISO 13857. The inlet guard is not fitted as standard.
3.2

Datenblatt oder dem jeweiligen technischen
Katalog zu entnehmen und unbedingt einzuhalten.

3.3 Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Die Dachventilatoren sind zur Absaugung staubfreier Luft und sonstigen, nicht aggressiven Gasen oder Dämpfen mit maximaler
Luftfeuchtigkeit von 95 % geeignet.

Für den Betrieb der Ventilatoren in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen sind die einschlägigen Bestimmungen und örtlichen
Vorschriften und entsprechenden Richtlinien
(ATEX) für den Hersteller und Betreiber zu beachten.
Jeder davon abweichende Einsatz gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Haftung für daraus resultierende
Personen- und/oder Sachschäden werden vom Hersteller nicht übernommen!
Die Motoren sind in einem
Spannungesbereich von 25 % bis 100 % der
Nennspannung, stufenlos, transformatorisch regelbar (115 V – 400 V).
Elektronische Steuergeräte und
Frequenzumrichter sind nicht zulässig!

Les extracteurs de toiture sont prévus pour aspirer de l'air propre exempt de poussières et d'autres gaz ou vapeurs non agressifs.
Les extracteurs de toiture sont fabriqués en aluminium résistant à la corrosion ou en tôle d'acier galvanisé.
Série RDD
Extracteur de toiture centrifuge, rejet horizontal,
à moteur intégré.
Tous les extracteurs de toiture sont livrés prêts au raccordement et sont munis du côté refoulement d'une grille de protection d'accès conforme à DIN EN ISO 13857. En série le côté aspiration n'a pas de grille de protection.
If there is a danger of contact with the impeller because of the way the fan is installed then a guard - DIN EN ISO 13857 - must be fitted - available as accessory.

Intended use
The roof fans are suitable for the extraction of dust free air and other non aggressive gases or vapours containing 95 % humidity as a maximum value..

When operating the fans in areas where a risk of explosion exists, the respective guidelines local regulations must be observed and
ATEX, for manufacturer and user.
Si en raison du genre du montage, il y a risque de frottement de la turbine, il faudra installer une grille de protection du côté aspiration conformément à DIN EN ISO
13857 (existe sous forme d'accessoire).
Caractéristiques techniques
Les caractéristiques techniques et les valeurs limites admissibles sont à relever sur les plaques signalétiques les fiches techniques ou les catalogues correspondants et à respecter impérativement.
Domaines d’utilisation
Les extracteurs de toiture sont bien appropriés à l'extraction d'air propre et autres gaz ou vapeurs non agressifs contenant 95 % d’humidité au maximum.
Pour l’exploitation des ventilateurs dans des zones à risque d’explosion, respecter les directives appropriées, les prescriptions locales et les normes ATEX, por fabricant et utilisateur.
Toutes conditions d'utilisation différentes sont considérées comme non conformes.
Les éventuels dommages pouvant en résulter tant sur les personnes que sur les biens ne seront pas pris en charge par le fabricant!
Les moteurs sont réglable par variation de la tension dans une plage de 25% à 100% de la tension nominale, variation en continue par transformateur (115 V – 400 V).
L’utilisation de variateurs électroniques n’est pas admise.

Nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Einsatz
Nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Einsatz wäre z.B.
die Förderung von:
• Medien mit unerlaubten hohen oder niedrigen Temperaturen.
• aggressive Medien.
• stark staubhaltige Medien.
• Luftfeuchte über 95 %
Die Folgen sind:
Lagerschäden, Korrosionsschäden, Unwucht,
Vibration, Deformation, Abrasionsschäden.
Improper use
Improper use would be for example the conveyance of:
• media having temperatures outside the permitted limits.
• aggressive media.
• heavily dust laden media
• maximum relative humidity higher than 95 %
The consequences are:
Bearing damage, rust damage, imbalance, vibration, distortion, abrasive damage.
3.5
Im Förderstrom dürfen keinesfalls feste oder flüssige Stoffe (z.B. Farbpartikel aus
Lackieranlagen) enthalten sein, die sich auf den Motor absetzen können! Aufgrund des im Förderstrom liegenden Aluminium-
Außenläufermotors muss Flugrost im
Förderstrom bauseits durch entsprechende Maßnahmen unbedingt verhindert werden.
Als Gefahr drohen:
Personen- und Sachschäden durch
Laufradbrüche, Wellenbrüche,
Dauerbrüche, Brände durch
Funkenbildung.
Ventilatoren zur Förderung explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre
RDD Ventilatoren dieser Baureihen in Ex-
Ausführung entsprechen der ATEX Richtlinie
Gerätekategorie 3G.
• An der Ansaugseite und in der Umgebung des Ventilators dürfen die Temperaturgrenzen
-20°C und +40°C nicht überschritten werden.
• Die Motoren sind in Schutzart “erhöhte
Sicherheit EExe II”, Temperaturklasse T1 bis
T3, Wärmeklasse B (-20°C bis +40°C) nach
DIN EN 50014; EN 50019; VDE 0170 / 171 ausgeführt.
• Sie dürfen nicht im explosionsgefährdeten
Bereich montiert werden. Zur Erleichterung der Elektro-Installation ist ein Anschlusskabel aus dem Ventilator herausgeführt.
• Elektronische Steuergeräte und
Frequenzumrichter sind nicht zulässig.
The conveying stream must not contain fluid or fixed particles (e.g. paint particles from painting installations), which could deposit on the motor! Because the motor material is of aluminium and placed in the conveying stream flying rust must be avoided by preventing it’s penetration into the fan.
There is a danger of:
Injury or damage to property caused by impeller fractures, shaft fractures, fatigue fractures, fires caused by sparks.
Fans for conveying potentially explosive atmospheres
RDD series explosion proof model fans comply with the ATEX regulations category 3G.
• The temperature limits of -20°C and +40°C must not be exceeded at the inlet side and in the vicinity of the fan.
• The motors are designed in "Enhanced
Safety II" protection system, temperature class T1 to T3, thermal class B (-20°C and
+40°C) in accordance with DIN EN 50014; EN
50019; VDE 0170/171.
• This kind of fan must not be installed in areas where a risk of explosion exists. For ease of electrical installation a free cable lead has been provided.
• The use of electronic control devices is
not admitted.
Utilisation non conforme
Une utilisation non conforme serait par exemple de véhiculer:
• des fluides avec des températures trop
élevées ou trop basses.
• des fluides agressifs.
• des fluides très poussiéreux
• humidité relative max. au dessus de 95 %
Les conséquences sont: détérioration des roulements, corrosion, déséquilibrage, vibrations, déformation, abrasion.
Le fluide passant dans le ventilateur ne doit pas contenir des particules (p.e. particules d’une installation de peinture) capable de former des dépôts sur le moteur! A cause de la matière de construction du rotor du moteur – aluminium - dans le courant du fluide «de la rouille volante» passant dans le ventilateur est à éviter.
Les risques:
Personnes blessées ou biens détériorés par la rupture d’une turbine, d’un arbre, fissures, incendie provoqué par des
étincelles.
Ventilateurs pour atmosphères explosives
Les ventilateurs de la série RDD en exécution antidéflagrante répondent à la norme ATEX catégorie 3G.
• Les limites de température -20°C et +40°C ne doivent pas être dépassées du côté aspiration ni à proximité du ventilateur.
• Les moteurs sont en protection "sécurité augmentée Eexe II", classe de température
T1 à T3, classe d'isolation B (-20°C à +40°C) selon DIN EN 50014; EN 50019; VDE
0170/171.
• Il est interdit de les monter dans une zone à risque d’explosion.
Pour faciliter l’installation électrique, un câble de raccordement a été sortie du ventilateur.
• L’utilisation de variateurs électroniques
n’est pas admise.
4. Transport
4.1
Transportschaden
Lieferung sofort und im Beisein des
Anlieferers auf Unversehrtheit und
Vollständigkeit überprüfen. Bei Transportschäden das beiliegende Merkblatt beachten.
Ventilatoren sorgfältig transportieren!
Unsachgemäßer Transport wie z.B. hartes, verkantetes Aufsetzen kann dazu führen, dass:
• Ventilatorlaufräder verklemmen.
• Wellen deformiert werden.
• Lagerschäden entstehen.
4.2 Transportsicherheit
• Transportmittel nach Gewicht und
Verpackung des Ventilators auswählen
(Typenschild, Datenblatt).
• Ladung vorschriftsmäßig sichern.
• Wir empfehlen, die Dachventilatoren erst zur
Montage aus der Verpackung zu entnehmen.
Transport
Transport damage
Check immediately and in the presence of the delivery person that the delivery is complete and intact. In the case of transport damage read the attached instructions.
Fans should be transported with care!
Improper handling such as for example setting it down hard on its edge may result in:
• the fan impeller jamming
• the shaft being distorted
• baring damage
Transport safety
• Choose means of transport suited to the weight and packaging of the fan (identification plate, technical information sheet).
• Secure the load correctly
• We recommend that the roof fans be left in their packaging until they are to be installed
Die Dachventilatoren dürfen zum Transport nur am Grundrahmen und/oder den
Ringösen befestigt werden.
For transporting, the roof fans should only be secured at the base frame and/or the ring eyes.
Transport
Dégât de transport
Vérifier immédiatement la conformité et l’état de la livraison en présence du livreur. En cas de dégâts de transport utiliser la fiche de renseignements joints.
Transportez les ventilateurs avec soins!
Un transport mal effectué, des manipulations trop brutales, peuvent:
• bloquer la turbine
• déformation de l’arbre
• détérioration des paliers
Sécurité du transport
• Choisir les moyens de transport en fonction du poids et de l'emballage du ventilateur
(plaque signalétique, fiche technique).
• Assurer le chargement selon les prescriptions.
• Nous recommandons d'enlever les extracteurs de toiture de leur emballage juste avant le montage.
Pour les transporter, il est seulement permis de fixer les extracteurs de toiture sur le cadre et/ou aux oeillets.
4.3
Zwischenlagerung
Bei Zwischenlagerung des Ventilators unbedingt folgende Punkte beachten:
• Ventilator in Transportverpackung einlagern, bzw. diese in Abhängigkeit der äußeren
Einflüsse ergänzen.
• Lagerort muss trocken und staubfrei sein und darf keine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit (<70%) aufweisen.
• Max. zulässige Lagertemperatur:
-25 °C bis + 40 °C
Temporary storage
When storing the fan temporarily the following points must be observed in all cases:
• Store the fan in its transport packaging, protected as necessary from the environment.
• The storage site must be dry and dust free and should not register high humidity
(<70%).
• Maximum storage temperature allowed: -25 °C + 40 °C
Stockage intermédiaire
En cas de stockage intermédiaire du ventilateur, suivre impérativement les points suivants :
• stocker le ventilateur dans son emballage d'origine, éventuellement renforcer la protection contre les éléments extérieurs en fonction de ceux-ci.
• Le lieu de stockage doit être propre sans poussière et sec (humidité <70%)
• Température maxi. de stockage : -25 °C à
+40 °C
5.
Montage / Installation
5.1 Sicherheitshinweise
• Die Montage darf nur von Fachpersonal unter Beachtung dieser Betriebsanleitung sowie den gültigen Vorschriften ausgeführt werden.
• Schutzvorrichtungen, die für
Montagearbeiten demontiert wurden, unmittelbar nach der Montage ( und vor dem elektrischen Anschluss) wieder anbringen.
• Ventilatoren so montieren, dass die
Standsicherheit bei Betrieb jederzeit gewährleistet ist.
• Dachventilatoren in vorgeschriebener Weise mit dem Grundrahmen am Dachsockel befestigen.
Ein Abfangen der Massen an anderen
Stellen führt zu Beschädigung des
Ventilators und gefährdet die Sicherheit.
5.2 Aufstellungsort
• Der Aufstellungsort muss in Art,
Beschaffenheit, Umgebungstemperatur und
Umgebungsmedium für den jeweiligen
Ventilator (Punkte 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 beachten) geeignet sein.
• Die Unterkonstruktion muss eben und ausreichend tragfähig sein.
• Die Befestigungsebene sollte möglichst horizontal sein, eine Montage auf schrägen
Flächen bis max 25°, bei Ex-Ventilatoren bis
5° Neigungswinkel ist jedoch zulässig.
Mounting / Installation
Safety precautions
• The installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with this operating manual and the regulations in force.
• Protective devices which were removed for assembly work should be replaced immediately after the assembly (and before connecting the electricity).
• Assemble fans in such a way that the stability is guaranteed at all times during operation.
• Secure roof fans by the base frame to the roof base as instructed.
Supporting the weight at other places may
damage the fan and endanger safety.
Installation site
• The installation site must be suitable for the respective fan as regards category, condition, ambient temperature and ambient medium
(see points 3.3, 3.4, 3.5)
• The foundation structure must be level and of sufficiently good bearing.
• The mounting surface must be as horizontal as possible; however mounting on a sloping surface with an inclination angle of up to 25
° maximum is possible, but for ex-proof fans the angle is limited up to 5° .
5.3
Aufstellung / Befestigung
y Dachventilator mit der Grundplatte auf den
Sockel aufsetzen. y Zum Ausgleich der Schraubenköpfe auf
der Grundrahmenunterseite die
Sockelschrauben mit ca. 5 mm hohen
Distanzscheiben (2) versehen.
y
Dichtungsband (3) auf Sockelfläche auflegen (für luftdichte Auflage). y
Dichtungsscheiben aus Kunststoff unter den
Befestigungsmuttern verhindern das eindringen von Wasser.
• Dichtungsband und Kunststoffscheiben
gehören zum Lieferumfang bei
Dachsockeln! y Sockelschrauben gleichmäßig anziehen, um
Verspannungen zu vermeiden. y
Nach Montage durch Drehen von Hand prüfen, ob Laufrad leichtgängig läuft und nicht streift.
Installation/ Fixing
• Place the roof fan with the base plate on the base.
• To compensate for the screw heads on
the base frame underside, provide the base screws with spacer discs about 5mm high (2).
• Place sealing band (3) on the base surface
(for airtight bed).
• Plastic sealing washers under the mounting nuts prevent water from entering.
• The sealing band and the plastic sealing
washers are included in the delivery of
roof bases!
• Tighten base screws evenly to avoid warping.
• After mounting check that the impeller rotates freely.
Montage / Installation
Consignes de sécurité
• Le montage ne doit être exécuté que par du personnel qualifié qui suivra à la lettre les présentes instructions de service ainsi que les règlements locaux en vigueur
• Les éléments de protection démontés pour effectuer les travaux de montage doivent obligatoirement être remis en place après le montage (avant le branchement électrique).
• Monter les ventilateurs de telle sorte que leur stabilité de fonctionnement soit garantie en permanence.
• Fixer les extracteurs de toiture conformément aux prescriptions avec le cadre de fixation sur le socle du toit.
La répartition des masses en d'autres points détériore le ventilateur et réduit la sécurité.
Lieu de montage
• Le lieu de montage doit être prévu de manière à répondre aux critères de température ambiante, de propriétés de l'environnement du ventilateur (suivre les points 3.3, 3.4, 3.5)
• Le socle doit être plan et pouvoir supporter la charge
• Il faudrait dans la mesure du possible que la surface de fixation soit horizontale mais toutefois un montage sur des surfaces inclinées jusqu'à 25° maxi. est permis, sauf pour ventilateurs anti-déflagrants où l’angle est limité à 5°.
Montage /Fixation
• Poser l'extracteur de toiture avec la plaque d'assise sur le socle.
• Afin de compenser les têtes de vis sur le
côté inférieur du cadre de fixation, munir les vis du socle de rondelles d'espacement
(2) d'env. 5 mm d'épaisseur
• Poser la bande d'étanchéité (3) sur la surface du socle (pour étanchéité à l'air)
• Les rondelles intercalaires en plastique posées sous les écrous de fixation empêchent la pénétration de l'eau.
• la bande d'étanchéité et les rondelles en
plastique font partie de la livraison des socles de toit!
• Serrer régulièrement les vis du socle afin d'éviter des tensions.

Motoranschluss
Alle Dachventilatoren in Ex-Ausführung werden mit einem herausgeführten
Anschlusskabel (3) geliefert.
Motoranschluss, gemäß dem beigefügten
Anschlussschema vornehmen.
Die Netzzuleitung erfolgt durch den Luftkanal und die Kabeldurchführung (2) zum Motor
(Anschlusskabel).
Der Motor wird nach abnehmen bzw. hochklappen (RDD) der Haube (1) zugänglich.
• Für Anschluss im explosionsgeschützten
Bereich sind nur dafür zugelassene
Anschlusskästen und Kabelverschraubungen zu verwenden.
• Schaltungsseitig ist eine Wiedereinschaltsperre vorzusehen.
Motorschutz
• In die Wicklung eingebaute Kaltleiter müssen an ein Kaltleiter-Auslösegerät mit der
Schutzkennzeichnung (Ex) II(2)G angeschlossen werden. Vorsicht: Zulässige
Prüfspannung bei Kaltleitern max. 2.5 V. Die
Kaltleiter dürfen nicht an die Netzspannung angeschlossen werden.
• Ein höherer Einstellwert ist nicht zulässig!
Bei explosionsgeschützten Motoren muss bei
Verwendung von Überlast Schutzeinrichtungen die auf dem Motortypenschild angegebene te-Zeit beachtet werden.
Die eingebauten Kaltleiter müssen angeschlossen werden. Schmelzsicherungen oder Sicherungsautomaten sind kein ausreichender Motorschutz.
Bei Schäden durch unzureichenden
Motorschutz entfällt die Herstellergarantie.

• When being installed the fan casing including the attached accessories have to be provided with earthing according to the local & public prescriptions.
Motor connection
All fans in Ex-execution are provided with a cable lead (3). Connection to be made acc. to the diagram attached.
The cable may be placed in the air duct and passing through the cable passage (2).
Access to the motor is given when taking off or swivelling (RDD) the cowl (1).
• For the electrical connections in hazardous areas only approved connection boxes and glands must be used.
• A switch lock avoiding immediate restarting has to be provided.
Motor protection
• The inbuilt PTC-thermistors are to be connected to a dedicated switch unit labelled
(Ex) II(2)G. Attention: The max. voltage on
PTC is 2.5V. Do not connect to main line.
• In the case of explosion proof motors observe the te-time on the motor identification plate when overload protective devices are used.
The inbuilt PTC thermistors have to be connected. Safety fuses or safety cutouts do not provide adequate motor protection.
The manufacturer’s guarantee does not cover damage caused by inadequate motor protection.

Raccordement
Toutes les tourelles en exécution antidéflagrante (ex) sont équipées d’un câble d’alimentation. Le branchement s’effectue selon le schéma attaché.
Le câble de branchement peut être posé dans la gaine et un passage de cloison (2) est prévu au niveau du socle.
L’accès au moteur est possible en enlevant ou basculant (RDD) la coupole.
• Pour le branchement électrique dans des zones à risque de déflagration seule des connecteurs, boîtiers et visseries de câbles agréés sont à utiliser.
• Une serrure évitant le réarmement immédiat est à prévoir.
Protection du moteur
• Les sondes PTC sont à brancher sur une unité de déclenchement adaptée marquée
(EX) II(2)G Attention: La tension maxi des
PTC est 2.5 Volt. Ne pas brancher sur le réseau principal.
• Pour les moteurs antidéflagrants, les protections contre les surcharges doivent tenir compte de l'indication de durée te de la plaque signalétique.
Les sondes PTC intégré dans le moteur sont a brancher. Les fusibles automatiques ou non ne constituent pas une protection suffisante pour le moteur. La garantie du constructeur ne couvre pas les dégâts résultant d'une protection insuffisante.

Motor starting
Motors with a nominal output of up to 4 kW can usually be started directly.
Motors with a nominal output of over 4 kW should generally be provided with a star-delta starter or a soft start.
The output limits set by the responsible electricity supply company should in no circumstances whatsoever be exceeded.
The motors are designed for continuous operation S1.
Frequent on-off operations are not admitted.
In situations where there are more than three starts per hour then the suitability of the motor should be confirmed with the producer.
Démarrage du moteur

6.1
Inbetriebnahme
Sicherheitsüberprüfung
• Überprüfen, ob alle mechanischen und elektrischen Schutzeinrichtungen angebracht und angeschlossen sind.
• Sind durch die Einsatzart des Ventilators
Eintrittsöffnungen frei zugänglich, müssen
Schutzvorrichtungen entsprechend DIN EN
ISO 13857 angebracht werden! Die Schutzvorrichtungen müssen so konzipiert werden, dass ein Ansaugen oder Hineinfallen von
Gegenständen auszuschließen ist.
Commissioning
Safety check
• Check whether all mechanical and electrical protective devices are fitted and connected.
• If fan inlet openings are easily accessible due to the particular application then protective guards must be fitted in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857! The safety devices have to be designed in a way that a dropping or sucking in of object will be excluded.

6.2

Ventilator- bzw. Motortypenschild prüfen.
• Angeschlossene Regelorgane auf Funktion prüfen.
• Revisionsöffnungen verschließen.
Der Ventilator darf nur in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn alle
Schutzvorrichtungen angebracht sind!
Einzuhaltende Spaltmaße bei Ex-
Ventilatoren
• Vor Inbetriebnahme und nach Wartungsarbeiten ist sicherzustellen, dass die Spaltweite S min
(s. Tabelle) geprüft wird und dass der Ventilator nur dann in Betrieb geht, wenn diese Mindestspaltweite nicht unter-schritten wird. Die Überprüfung ist an vier um ca. 90° versetzen Punkten am Umfang durchzuführen. Das Laufrad wird dabei an jeder
Prüfposition von Hand um mindestens eine
Umdrehung gedreht. Während der Laufraddrehung darf kein Unterschreiten des
Mindestspaltmaßes zwischen feststehendem und rotierendem Teil auftreten. Hierdurch wird erreicht, dass Veränderungen des

Make the following checks before commissioning:

• Before start-up and after maintenance work, it must be ensured that the gap with S min
(s. table) is checked and that the fan only starts operating when the value is not lower than this minimum gap width. The check must be carried out on the perimeter at four points offset by approx. 90°. At the same time, the impeller is turned manually by at least one revolution at every check position. During rotation of the impeller, the gap between the fixed and rotating part must not be smaller than the minimum gap dimension. This ensures that alterations of the gap dimension which arise after delivery, for example due to improper transport or assembly (s. also 4 and

Respect des distances
• Avant la mise en service et lors de travaux d’entretien, s’assurer que la largeur de fente
S min
(v. tableau) a été contrôlée et que le ventilateur ne sera exploité que si cette largeur de fente minimale n’est pas dépassée. Exécuter le contrôle sur quatre points, décalés d’env. 90°, sur la circonférence. La roue centrifuge est à cette occasion tournée à la main, au moins d’un tour à chaque position de contrôle. Durant la rotation de la roue centrifuge, la dimension de la fente ne doit en aucun cas être inférieure à la cote de fente minimale entre la pièce fixe et la pièce en rotation. Cette méthode permet d’une part de déceler des modifications de dimension de la

Test run
Switch fan on briefly and check the direction of rotation of the impeller by comparing it with the rotation direction arrow on the fan.
If the motor’s direction of rotation is wrong, reverse poles whilst following the safety regulations.
Caution! If this check is made with an open roof fan, the impeller is not protected
Check the current consumption
Once the operating speed of the fan has been reached, immediately measure the current consumption and compare it with the nominal motor current on the motor and fan identification plates.
If there is continuous overload switch off immediately.
Check for quiet running
Check the fan for smooth running.
There should be no unusual oscillations or vibrations.
Check the motor for any abnormal noises.

Mettre le ventilateur brièvement en circuit et vérifier le sens de rotation de la turbine en comparant avec la flèche du sens de rotation qui se trouve sur le ventilateur. En cas de mauvais sens de rotation, inverser la polarité du moteur en respectant les consignes de sécurité.
Attention! si cette vérification est effectuée lorsque l'extracteur de toiture est ouvert, la turbine n'est pas protégée.
Vérifier l'intensité du courant
Aussitôt que la vitesse de service du ventilateur est atteinte, mesurer l'intensité du courant et comparer avec le courant nominal du moteur indiqué sur la plaque signalétique du moteur, voire du ventilateur.
S'il y a un courant de surcharge permanent, mettre hors circuit.
Vérifier le fonctionnement silencieux
Vérifier le ventilateur au niveau de sa marche silencieuse. On ne doit constater aucune oscillation ni vibration inhabituelles.
Vérifier le moteur au niveau de bruits inhabituels.
7.
7.1
Instandhaltung / Wartung Upkeep / Maintenance

Vor Arbeiten am Ventilator unbedingt beachten:
• Antriebsmotor allpolig vom Netz trennen!
• Stillstand des Laufrades abwarten!
• Oberflächentemperatur wegen
Verbrennungsgefahr prüfen!
• Sicherstellen, dass ein unkontrolliertes
Anlaufen des Ventilators während der
Wartungsarbeit nicht möglich ist
(z.B. abschließbarer Revisionsschalter)!
• Schädliche oder gefährliche Reststoffe, die sich durch das Fördermedium im Ventilator befinden, vor den Wartungsarbeiten mit geeigneten Mitteln entfernen.
• Die Wiederinbetriebnahme erfolgt nach den
Sicherheitsüberprüfungen gemäß Kapitel 6
"Inbetriebnahme/ Sicherheitsüberprüfung".
Hiervon ausgenommen sind Arbeiten, die nur im Betriebszustand unter Einhaltung der gültigen Sicherheits- und Unfallvorschriften ausgeführt werden könne: z.B. Schwingungsmessung.

Excluded from this are tasks which can only be carried out in operating mode under observance of the relevant safety and accident regulations: e.g. vibration measurement, shock pulse measurement.
Entretien/ Maintenance

Wartungsintervalle
Bei längeren Stillstandszeiten ist der
Ventilator regelmäßig kurzzeitig in betrieb zu nehmen, um Lagerschäden durch mechanische Belastung oder Eindringen von
Feuchtigkeit zu vermeiden. Nach längerer
Lagerung sind vor dem Einbau die Motorlager zu überprüfen.
Die Angaben der Hersteller der Schalt- und
Steuergeräte sind zu beachten.

Maintenance intervals
During periods of longer lasting stand stills the fan may be operated shortly in regular intervals. This is to prevent the bearings from mechanical load and the avoid ingress of humidity. If fans have been hold on stock for a longer period the bearings of the motor have to be checked prior to installation.
The instructions for the switches and control units have to respected.
Der Ventilator ist regelmäßig auf mechanische

Eine Laufradverschmutzung kann Unwucht und Beschädigung hervorrufen. Um diesen
Gefahren vorzubeugen, sind je nach Einsatz geeignete Inspektions- und
Reinigungsintervalle festzulegen und einzuhalten.
Ist durch die Art des Fördermediums eine
Funktionsstörung durch Verschleiß oder
Verschmutzung an Gehäuse zu erwarten
(Korrosion, Abrasion, Materialanbackungen), müssen regelmäßige Inspektionen und
Reinigungen vorgenommen werden.
Schwingungsdämpfer auf Funktion prüfen.
Die Intervalle orientieren sich an den jeweiligen Betriebsbedingungen und sind vom
Betreiber festzulegen.
Keine Hochdruckreiniger
(Dampfstrahlreiniger) verwenden!
7.3 Motoren
Die Kugellager der Motoren haben eine
Lebensdauerschmierung. Nach Beendigung der Fettgebrauchsdauer ist ein Austausch erforderlich.
Die Fettgebrauchsdauer beträgt bei Standard-
Anwendungen ca. 30.000 Stunden.
7.4
Zubehör
Elastische Stutzen (Kompensatoren) zwischen Ventilator und Anlageteilen sind in regelmäßigen Intervallen zu überprüfen.
Bei Montage von Ersatzteilen erlischt die
Konformitätserklärung und jegliche
Bescheinigung des Ventilators für Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Atmosphären
The fan has be checked regularly whether vibrations may occur. The maximum vibration speed in radial direction must not exceed 4.5 mm/s to monitored at the bearing or bearing housing of the fan or motor.
A deposit of dust and solids can cause unbalancing and consecutive damages.
In order to prevent this danger regular inspection and cleaning operations are to be scheduled.
If a malfunction to the type of media conveyed one can expect wear or dirt accumulation on the housing (corrosion, abrasion, caked material) then regular inspection and cleaning must be carried out.
Anti Vibrations mounts have to be checked whether operating correctly
The intervals will vary according to operating conditions and should be set by the operator.
Do not use a high pressure cleaner (steam jet cleaner)!
Motors
The motor bearings are provided with a lifetime greasing. After having passed the period of greasing efficiency the bearings have to be replaced.

7.5 Ersatzteile

Spare parts
The declaration of conformity ATEX is only valid for the original supply ex works and when respecting conform insallation and maintenance.

Si ces points ne sont pas observés, il y aura danger de blessures et de mort pour le personnel de maintenance.
Intervalles d'entretien
Pendant de longues périodes d’arrêt les ventilateurs sont à mettre en route de temps en temps pour éviter des dommages mécaniques et la pénétration d’humidité à l’intérieur. En cas de stockage du ventilateur pour une période étendue les roulements du moteur sont a vérifier avant leur installation.
Les instructions concernant les interrupteurs et appareils de contrôle sont
à respecter.
Le ventilateur est à examiner dans des intervalles réguliers si des vibrations apparaissent. La vitesse maximum pour les vibrations ne doit pas dépasser 4.5 mm/s au palier du ventilateur et du moteur.
Le dépôt de poussières et d’autres corps solides peut conduire à du déséquilibrage est
à des dommages en conséquence. Pour
éviter ceci des inspections et des nettoyages réguliers sont à prévoir.
Si un défaut de fonctionnement, en raison du genre de fluide, il faut s'attendre à une usure ou un encrassement de la volute (corrosion, abrasion, attaque du matériau), il faudra procéder à des inspections et des nettoyages réguliers.
Les plots anti vibratiles sont à vérifier s'ils fonctionnement correctement
Les intervalles correspondants dépendront des conditions respectives de service est seront définis par l'exploitant.

Moteurs
Les roulements des moteur ont reçus un graissage à vie. Après la période d’usage de la capacité de graissage les roulements sont
à remplacer. Le temps de la capacité de graissage est limité à 30.000 heures pour des utilisations standard.
Accessoires
Les manchettes souples (compensateurs) qui se trouvent entre le ventilateur et les pièces de l'installation seront vérifiées à intervalles réguliers.
Dans le cas de montage de pièces de rechange au ventilateur la déclaration de conformité perdra sa validité ainsi que n’importe quel certificat permettant l’utilisation du ventilateur dans une atmosphère déflagrante.
Des manchettes non étanches entraînent des perturbations et des risques par fuites du fluide et doivent être remplacées.
Pièces de rechange
La déclaration de conformité ATEX est seulement valable pour le produit départ usine et ensuite en cas d’installation et entretien conforme.
N'utiliser que des pièces de rechange d'origine conformément à la liste des pièces de rechange.

Faults
Any deviation from normal running state of the fan indicate malfunctions and must be investigated by service personnel immediately.
Faults which persist over some time can lead to the destruction of the fan and the plant components and cause injury to
persons.
If the fault cannot be corrected by your service personnel please ask for our after sales service.
Incidents de fonctionnement
Toutes différences par rapport aux états normaux de service du ventilateur doivent faire penser à une perturbation de fonctionnement et doivent être immédiatement vérifiées par le personnel de maintenance.
