Das Gerät sollte nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder einer Feuchtigkeitsquelle betrieben werden.

5. Wärme / Hitze:

Das Gerät sollte nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wärmequellen aufgestellt werden (wie z.B. auch Leistungs-Endstufen).

6. Stromversorgung:

Das Gerät sollte nur am +12 Volt Bordnetz betrieben werden.

7. Anschluss/Stromversorgung:

Das Gerät nur an einem +12 Volt Bordnetz verwenden und auf einen ordentlichen Masseanschluss achten.

8. Eindringen von Gegenständen oder Flüssigkeit:

Bitte Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Gegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten in das Geräteinnere eindringen können (Kurzschlussgefahr)!

9. Reparaturen:

Sie sollten geschultes Fachpersonal aufsuchen, wenn:

• ein Stecker oder eine Steckverbindung beschädigt wurde

• Kabel beschädigt sind

• Objekte in das Gerät gefallen oder Flüssigkeit eingedrungen ist

• das Produkt Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt war

• das Gerät nicht normal arbeitet oder deutliche Änderungen im

Betriebsverhalten zu beobachten sind

• das Produkt/Gehäuse beschädigt ist.

10. Bedienung:

Führen Sie keine Bedienung durch, die Sie längere Zeit vom Strassenverkehr/

Verkehrsgeschehen ablenkt – UNFALLGEFAHR!!!

11. Garantie:

Die Garantie erlischt, wenn:

• Sie das Gerät oder das Gehäuse öffnen

• Sie selbstständig Reparaturen durchführen

• Sie das Gerät unsachgemäss nutzen

Installation des Kabelsatzes mit MULTI10:

Anweisung für Mercedes W169, W245, W203, W209, W251, W164 mit NTG2 System:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Einbau des Interfaces bei ausgeschalteter Zündung durchzuführen ist.

1. Alle Blenden rund um das COMAND entfernen.

2. Vier Schrauben an den das COMAND in der Mittelkonsole

befestigt ist lösen und vorsichtig nach vorne herausziehen

3. Original Quadlockstecker vom Gerät abstecken.

Grünen Fakra-Stecker (Video-Leitung) direkt am COMAND

anschließen. Einen der beiden Lichtwellenleiter aus dem

original Quadlockstecker herausnehmen und diesen mit

dem beigefügten LWL-Verbinder ineinander stecken.

Das zweite Lichtwellenleiter Kabel mit dem original

Quadlockstecker verbinden. Dabei sind die Richtungspfeile

zu beachten (siehe rechte Abbildung).

4. Die Schwarze Leitung am Kabelsatz wird mit Masse,

die rote Leitung mit 12V Dauerplus verbunden.

An der 3,5mm Mini Klinke Buchse wird das entsprechende

Steuerkabel angeschlossen (z.B. „STK-AL25“ für DVD

Alpine Geräte). Zusätzlich kann der Y-Adapter „CABLE-415“

(separat erhältlich) eingesetzt werden um IR-Empfänger

der Videoquelle parallel zum Interface anschließen zu können.

Desweiteren kann ein zweiter Y-Adapter dazu dienen eine

weitere Videoquelle parallel steuern zu können. Die Anbindung

erfolgt zwischen die Mini Klinke Buchse am Kabelsatz

und das entsprechende Steuerkabel.

5. Video / Audio Cinchkabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)

mit den drei Cinchbuchsen am Interface und der Videoquelle

verbinden. Original Quadlockstecker am COMAND wieder

anschließen.

6. Das System zurück in der Mittelkonsole befestigen.

Anweisung für Mercedes W211, W219 mit NTG1 System:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Einbau des Interfaces bei ausgeschalteter Zündung

durchzuführen ist.

1. Blenden an der Mittelkonsole unterhalb des COMAND entfernen.

2. Zwei Schrauben an den das COMAND in der Mittelkonsole

befestigt ist lösen und vorsichtig nach vorne herausziehen.

3. Alle original Stecker vom Gerät trennen.

Grünen Fakra-Stecker (Video-Leitung) direkt am COMAND

System anschließen. Einen der beiden Lichtwellenleiter

aus dem original Stecker herausnehmen und diesen mit

dem beigefügten LWL-Verbinder ineinander stecken.

Das zweite Lichtwellenleiter Kabel mit dem original

Stecker verbinden. Dabei sind die Richtungspfeile

zu beachten (siehe rechte Abbildung).

4. Die Schwarze Leitung am Kabelsatz wird mit Masse,

die rote Leitung mit 12V Dauerplus verbunden.

An der 3,5mm Mini Klinke Buchse wird das entsprechende

Steuerkabel angeschlossen (z.B. „STK-AL25“ für DVD

Alpine Geräte). Zusätzlich kann der Y-Adapter „CABLE-415“

(separat erhältlich) eingesetzt werden um IR-Empfänger

der Videoquelle parallel zum Interface anschließen zu können.

Des weiteren kann ein zweiter Y-Adapter dazu dienen eine

weitere Videoquelle parallel steuern zu können. Die Anbindung

erfolgt zwischen die Mini Klinke Buchse am Kabelsatz

und das entsprechende Steuerkabel.

5. Video / Audio Cinchkabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)

mit den drei Cinchbuchsen am Interface und der Videoquelle

verbinden. Original Quadlockstecker am COMAND wieder

anschließen.

6. Das System zurück in der Mittelkonsole befestigen.

Funktionsweise und Bedienung (Mercedes):

Die „Video“ Taste aktiviert dem A/V Eingang am COMAND System.

Durch längeres drücken der Taste „1“ und anschließend kurzes drücken der Taste „*“ kann der gerätespezifische RC Code eingegeben werden. Nach Eingabe des zweistelligen RC Codes wird die „OK“

Taste betätigt und der Code wird gespeichert.

(Details zu gerätespezifischen RC Codes siehe

unten)

Die Umschaltung zwischen den beiden RC Codes erfolgt durch längeren Druck auf die Taste „5“.

Installation des Kabelsatzes mit MULTI15:

Anweisung für Range Rover Vogue, Sports, Dicovery 3:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Einbau des Interfaces bei ausgeschalteter Zündung durchzuführen ist.

Discovery 3 Vogue Sports

1. Touchscreen Monitor aus der Mittelkonsole ausbauen.

2. Grünen Fakra Stecker (Video-Leitung) aus dem

Kabelsatz MS-MBN2 direkt am Monitor anschließen.

3. Wie in der rechten Skizze zu sehen, unter Beachtung der

Richtungspfeile einen der beiden Lichtwellenleiter aus

dem original Stecker herausnehmen und diesen mit dem

beigefügten LWL-Verbinder ineinander stecken.

Das zweite Lichtwellenleiterkabel mit dem original

Stecker verbinden.

4. Schwarze Leitung am Kabelsatz wird mit Masse,

rote Leitung mit 12V Dauerplus verbunden.

Die 3pin AMP Buchse dient zur Gerätesteuerung.

Hier wird das entsprechende Steuerkabel angeschlossen

(z.B. „STK-SV8“). Zusätzlich kann der Y-Adapter

„CABLE-415“ (separat erhältlich) eingesetzt werden

um IR-Empfänger der Videoquelle parallel zum

Interface anschließen zu können.

Desweiteren kann ein zweiter Y-Adapter dazu dienen

eine weitere Videoquelle parallel steuern zu können.

Die Anbindung erfolgt zwischen die Mini Klinke Buchse

am Kabelsatz und das entsprechende Steuerkabel.

5. Video / Audio Cinchkabel (nicht im Lieferumfang

enthalten) mit den drei Cinchbuchsen am Interface

und der Videoquelle verbinden.

6. Das System zurück in der Mittelkonsole befestigen.

Funktionsweise und Steuerung (Range Rover):

Durch das betätigen des „TV“ Feldes im Hauptmenü wird die Einstellungsebene für TV Norm eingeblendet.

Je nach Land wird die entsprechende Auswahl vorgenommen.

Durch drücken des „ “ Symbols wird die aktuelle

Ebene wieder verlassen.

Das Feld „Auto“ aktiviert die Ebene für

Steuerungsumschaltung der zu bedienenden

Videoquelle(n). Dabei können bis zu zwei Geräte

parallel angesprochen werden.

Durch drücken des „ “ Symbols wird das

Hauptmenü wieder eingeblendet.

Im Hauptmenü dargestellter Ziffernblock und die beiden Pfeiltasten werden zu Fernsteuerung der Videoquelle(n) genutzt. Die genauen

Steuerbefehle sind aus der unteren Tabelle zu entnehmen.

Installation des Kabelsatzes mit MULTI20:

Anweisung für Porsche Cayenne PCM 2.1 System:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Einbau des Interfaces bei ausgeschalteter Zündung durchzuführen ist.

1. Zierblende um das Navigationssystem vorsichtig

entfernen. Verwenden Sie dazu ein geeignetes Werkzeug.

Wie in der rechten Abbildung mit Pfeilen markiert,

die 4 TORX Schrauben lösen und das Gerät aus

der Mittelkonsole herausziehen.

2. Sämtliche Anschlussstecker vom Gerät trennen.

Grünen Fakra-Stecker (Video-Leitung) direkt am PCM 2.1

System anschließen. Einen der beiden Lichtwellenleiter

aus dem original Stecker herausnehmen und diesen mit

dem beigefügten LWL-Verbinder ineinander stecken.

Das zweite Lichtwellenleiter Kabel mit dem original

Stecker verbinden. Dabei sind die Richtungspfeile

zu beachten (siehe rechte Abbildung).

4. Die Schwarze Leitung am Kabelsatz wird mit Masse,

die rote Leitung mit 12V Dauerplus verbunden.

An der 3,5mm Mini Klinke Buchse wird das entsprechende

Steuerkabel angeschlossen (z.B. „STK-AL25“ für DVD

Alpine Geräte). Zusätzlich kann der Y-Adapter „CABLE-415“

(separat erhältlich) eingesetzt werden um IR-Empfänger

der Videoquelle parallel zum Interface anschließen zu können.

Des weiteren kann ein zweiter Y-Adapter dazu dienen eine

weitere Videoquelle parallel steuern zu können.

Die Anbindung erfolgt zwischen die Mini Klinke Buchse

am Kabelsatz und das entsprechende Steuerkabel.

Funktionsweise und Steuerung (Porsche):

Um die Steuerung benutzen zu können, müssen die Stationstasten 0-9 des PCM 2.1 Systems mit den jeweiligen Kanälen für die Steuerung belegt werden.

Durch betätigen der „AV“ Taste wird der TV Eingang aktiviert..

Durch drücken des rechten Drehknopfs erreicht man das TV-Menü. Als nächstes wird die Speicherebene

„A“ aus dem drei möglichen Ebenen (AS, A, B) ausgewählt.

In der „Kanaleingabe“ Ebene werden die Stationstasten

0-9 mit Kanal Nr. zugeordnet :

1. Mit Drehknopf die Kanal Nr. einstellen (Ch 1)

2. Drehknopf kurz drücken

3. Mit „Return“-Taste zurück im Menü springen

4. Stationstaste „1“ lange drücken (wird mit Ton

Quittiert)

- Den Vorgang wiederholen bis alle Stationstasten

mit Kanal Nr. zugewiesen wurden

Die Stationstasten Belegung ist wie folgt durchzuführen:

Gerätezuweisung:

Die Gerätezuweisung erfolgt über Menü-Ebene

„INFO“ → „VIDEOTEXT“.

Über den Zahlenblock wird der dreistellige Geräte

RC Code eingegeben (z.B. für DVP-900HD „101“).

Direkt nach der Eingabe der dreistelligen Nummer erfolgt automatisch die Speicherung des RC Codes .

Warning: Do not install interface while ignition is turned on.

1. Remove all covers around the COMAND.

2. Remove the 4 screws attaching the COMAND to the center

console and remove it carefully.

3. Disconnect the original Quadlock-connector from the device.

Connect the green Fakra-plug (Video-Line) to the COMAND.

Remove one of the two optical cables from the original

Quadlock-connector and connect it to the enclosed

LWL-connector.

Connect the second optical cable to the original

Quadlock-connector. Pay attention to the directional arrows

as shown in the picture on the right.

4. Connect the black wire of the cable kit to ground and the

red wire to 12V plus.

Connect the corresponding control cable (e.g. „STK-AL25“

for DVD Alpine devices) to the jack socket. Additionally, the

available Y-adapter „CABLE-415“ (sold separately) may be

used to enable the connection of the IR-remote receiver of a

video source parallel to the interface itself.

Furthermore, a second Y-adapter may be used for parallel

control of an additional video source if the adapter is

connected between the jack socket of the cable kit and the

corresponding control cable.

5. Connect the three Cinch sockets of the interface to the video

source using a Video / Audio Cinch cable (not included).

Reconnect the original Quadlock- connector to the COMAND.

Instructions for Mercedes W211, W219 with NTG1 system:

Warning: Do not install interface while ignition is turned on.

1. Remove all covers below the COMAND.

2. Loosen the two screws attaching the COMAND to the center

console and carefully extract it.

3. Disconnect the original Quadlock-connector from the device.

Connect the green Fakra-plug (Video-Line) to the COMAND.

Function and controls (Mercedes):

Pushing the “Video“ button activates the

AV-input of the COMAND.

Prolonged pushing (2 Sec.) the “1“ and then the “*” button activates the device channel input.

Input now device-specific control selection requires entering a two-digit number (e.g.

“01“ denotes controls for the DVD USB

Player) followed by pushing the “OK“ button.

Pushing the “5” button for a prolonged time switches between device controls.

Installation of cable kit with MULTI15:

Instructions for Ranger Rover Vogue, Sports, Dicovery 3:

Warning: Do not install interface while ignition is turned on.

Discovery 3 Vogue Sports

1. Extract the touch screen monitor from the center console.

2. Connect the green Fakra connector (Video-Line) of the

cable kit MS-MBN2 directly to the monitor.

3. Remove one of the two optical cables from the original

connector (please pay attention to the directional arrows)

and insert it into the supplied LWL-connector.

Connect the second optical cable to the original

connector.

4. Connect the black wire of the cable kit to ground and the

red wire 12V permanent plus.

Connect the corresponding control cable (e.g.“ STK-AL25“

for DVD Alpine devices) to the jack socket.

The optionally available Y-adapter ”CABLE-415“ (sold

separately) may be used to enable the connection of the

IR-remote receiver of a video source parallel to the

interface itself. Furthermore, a second Y-adapter may be

used for parallel control of an additional video source,

provided that the adapter is connected between the jack

socket of the cable kit and the corresponding control cable.

Use a Video / Audio Cinch cable (sold separately) to

connect the video source to the three Cinch sockets of the

interface.

6. Re-attach the system to the center console.

Function and controls (Range Rover):

Pushing the “TV“ field in the main menu displays the TV system layer.

Once a TV system was selected, exit the current layer by pushing the“ “ symbol

Pushing the “Auto“ field switches to the control selection layer.

It allows parallel access of up to two devices.

Return to the main menu by pushing the“ “ symbol.

The numeric array together with two arrow fields displayed in the main menu are used to remotely control the video source(s).

Installation of cable kit with MULTI20:

Instructions for Porsche Cayenne PCM 2.1 system:

Warning: Do not install interface while ignition is turned on.

1. Carefully remove the decorational cover surrounding the

navigation system using appropriate tools.

Loosen the 4 TORX-screws as marked in the picture on

the right and extract the device from the center console.

2.

Disconnect all plugs from the device.

Connect the green Fakra-plug (Video-Line) to the PCM 2.1

system. Remove one of the two optical cables from the

original connector and connect it to the enclosed LWL-

connector. Connect the second optical cable to the original

connector. Pay attention to the directional arrows as shown

in the picture on the right.

4. Connect the black wire of the cable kit to ground and the

red wire to 12V plus.

Connect the corresponding control cable (e.g. „STK-AL25“

for DVD Alpine devices) to the jack socket. Additionally, the

Function and controls (Porsche):

To be able to use the controls, station buttons 0-9 of the PCM 2.1 system need to be assigned the corresponding control channels.

Pushing the “AV“ button activates TV input.

Pushing the right knob accesses the TV menu and enables the selection of the memory layers (AS, A or B): Layer “A“ needs to be selected.

Station buttons 0-9 are assigned to channel numbers at the „chanel input“ level:

1. Use the right knob to select the channel number (Ch 1)

2. Push the right knob briefly

3. Push the „back arrow“ button to retun to previous menu

4. Push station button „1“ for 2 secound (confirmend

by a sound)

- Repeat this procedure until all stations buttons

have been assigned to channels numbers
