Part 2: Installation 1. Removing the transport safety devices Remove the transport safety devices from both transfer carriages, the sewing head and the folding device. 2. Balancing out the sewing unit Lay ue spirit level on the stand and balance out the sewing unit with the 4 feet 1 accordingly. Make sure that the weight is distributed almost evenly among the 4 feet. 3. Mounting all components — When mounting the stacker, its lateral position needs to be adjusted. See subject 7.3 of the service manual. — Should the sewing unit include a milling device, the vacuum unit 6 needs to be mounted as well. To do this, connect its plug with the socket under the table top. Insert the hose 4 into the connection piece 3 on the machine. 4. Connecting the sewing unit electrically and pneumatically — Connect the hose of the sewing unit to the N compressed air line (7 - 10 bar). 48 — Connect the plug of the sewing unit with the mains. Make sure that the machine is only operated with the voltage specified on the name plate. 5. Calling up the "Automatic" menu — Turn on the machine and zero the carriages, see subject 3.1 of the operation manual. — Read the code and call up the "Automatic" menu, see subject 3.2 of the operation manual. To select another on-screen language: Call up the "Service" menu using the menu key. Call up the menu "Service technician”, see 9.1 of the service manual. Select the "Language" menu using the key 9. Select the desired language with the correspon- ding key. Call up again the menu "Service technician”. Checking the functions of the entire sewing unit Call up the "Automatic" menu using the menu key. Select a speed of approx. 30% using the key —. Enter "Folding control”. Load the cut pieces and activate the folding process (see subject 3.4 of the operation manual). Proceed with the automatic sequence using the key "1". Check the set pocket.
