Produktbeschreibung

Das EoC 2-01 Modem ermöglicht die Einspeisung von IP-Datensignalen in eine vorhandene koaxiale Antennenverteilung (in Stern- oder

Baumverteilung). Die Modems kommunizieren im Peer-to-Peer-Mode, jedes Modem kann mit jedem Modem im Netz kommunizieren. Die

Übertragung erfolgt im Rückkanal-Frequenzbereich von 2…68 MHz (Up- und Downstream).

Die Einspeisung erfolgt über den rückkanaltauglichen terrestrischen

Eingang eines SAT-Multischalters, den terrestrischen Eingang einer

Antennenverteilstruktur oder über eine rückkanaltaugliche

Antennendose im Verteilnetz.

An einem EoC-Modem können zwei netzwerkfähige Geräte an den LAN-

Anschlüssen angeschlossen werden. Das Netzwerk kann auf bis zu 64

EoC-Geräte ausgebaut werden.

Das EoC 2-01 WiFi Modem besitzt zusätzlich WLAN-Funktion. Dadurch können Smartphones, Tablets und andere WLAN-Endgeräte ins Netzwerk integriert werden.

Installation (typisches Beispiel)

Alle Komponenten in der Verteilstruktur müssen den Rückkanal-

Frequenzbereich von 5…65 MHz unterstützen. Dies gilt insbesondere für die

SAT-Multischalter, das passive Verteilmaterial und für die Antennensteckdosen.

4 Internet-Router am ersten EoC-Modem an einer der beiden RJ-45 LAN-

Buchsen anschließen.

4 EoC-F-Buchse an der vorhandenen Antennennetzstruktur anschließen.

4 Computer am zweiten EoC-Modem an einer der beiden RJ-45 LAN-

Buchsen anschließen.

4 EoC-Modem über die EoC-F-Buchse an der rückkanaltauglichen

Antennensteckdose anschließen.

An der TV-F-Buchse auf der Rückseite des EoC-Modem kann ein TV- oder

Radiogerät angeschlossen werden.

Wenn Sie die TV-Buchse nicht verwenden, schließen Sie diese mit dem beiliegenden Abschlusswiderstand CFA 8-00 ab!

EoC-Netzwerk mit Verschlüsselung:

Ein EoC-Netzwerk besteht aus zwei oder mehreren (maximal 64) EoC-

Modems, die denselben Netzwerkschlüssel verwenden. Durch die

Verschlüsselung Ihres EoC-Netzwerkes, schützen Sie die Informationen, die Sie über das Netzwerk versenden, vor ungewolltem Zugriff.

4 Zunächst den werkseitig eingestellten Netzwerkschlüssel löschen.

4 Dazu bei allen Geräten die EoC-Reset-Taste an der Rückseite

5…8 Sekunden drücken (bis die Power-LED blinkt).

Paar- bzw. Gruppenbildung

4 Beim ersten Gerät die EoC-Reset-Taste an der Rückseite kurz

(<1 s) drücken .

Die Power-LED fängt an zu blinken.

4 Innerhalb von zwei Minuten beim anderen Gerät/bei den anderen Geräten ebenfalls kurz die EoC-Reset-Taste drücken .

Ein neuer Netzwerkschlüssel wird generiert und die Geräte verbinden sich miteinander.

4 Die EoC LED blinkt kurzzeitig auf.

4 Nach Abschluss leuchten die Power- und EoC-LEDs.

Product description

The EoC 2-01 modem allows feeding in of IP data signals in an existing coaxial antenna distribution (in the star or tree distribution).

The modems communicates in a Peer-to-Peer mode, each modem can communicate with each modem in the network. The data is transmitted through the return channel in the frequency range of 2...68 MHz.

The feeding in is performed via the return channel capable terrestrial input of a SAT multiswitch, via the terrestrial input of the antenna distributor structure or via a return channel capable antenna socket in the distribution network.

Two networkable devices can be connected to the LAN ports of a EoC modem. The IP network can be extended to up to 64 EoC devices.

The EoC 2-01 WiFi modem has a WLAN function which allows you to establish an internet connection on smart phones, tablet PCs and other

WLAN devices.

Installation (typical example)

All components in the distribution structure must support the return channel frequency range 2-68 MHz. This applies to SAT multiswitches, the passive distribution components and for antenna sockets.

Connect the EoC socket to the available antenna network structure.

Connect the computer to one of both RJ-45 LAN sockets of the

Connect the EoC modem using the EoC-F socket to the antenna network structure.

Additionally, a TV or radio device can be connected to the TV-F socket of the EoC modem. If the terrestrial input of the SAT multiswitch is not assigned, it must be terminated with a 75 Ohm terminating resistor.

EoC network with encryption:

An EoC network consists of two or several (maximum 64) EoC modems which use the same network key.

Securing your EoC network allows you to protect the information sent via the network from unauthorized access.

4 Delete the default network key first.

4 Press the EoC Reset buttons on the rear side of all EoC devices for 5…8 seconds (until the Power LED flashes).

The Power LED starts flashing.

Press the EoC reset buttons on the other devices within two minutes.

An invidual network key will be generate and the devices connect
