IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This LED light bar has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug. Read entire installation procedure before you begin. Not to be used with a dimming circuit.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR PLUG-IN UNIT

Carefully plan your installation prior to securing the LED light bar. Make sure the 5ft. power supply cord will reach the nearest electrical outlet. For kitchen installations, the recommended mounting for the LED light bar is under the cabinets near the front lip, as shown in Figure 1. This provides the best light distribution across a countertop.

• Consult a local licensed electrician or electrical contractor if you are not sure about the installation.

• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL FIXTURE WHILE PLUGGED IN.

• Select a suitable dry mounting location (for use indoors only). Make sure mounting surface is capable of supporting the fixture.

• It is recommended that a 1/16" (0.15cm) pilot hole be drilled in the mounting surface for wood screws.

1. Place the fixture in a location where you want it mounted. Make sure the switch will be accessible when the fixture is mounted. Mark the position of the fixture on one end with a pencil. This will be the outer most edge of the fixture. See Figure 1. Place the lug on the inside of the line and affix with the screw provided, through the round hole, to the mounting surface.

2. Slide the fixture over the mounted lug until it stops. See Figure 2.

3. Place the other lug slightly inside the track at the opposite end of the fixture, so the outer most round mounting hole is visible. See Figure 3.

4. Using the second screw provided, affix the second lug to the mounting surface.

5. Slide the fixture back over the second lug so that both lugs are hidden completely from view. See Figure 4.

1. Place the fixture in a location where you want it mounted. Mark the position of the fixture on one end with a pencil. This is a reference mark. This will be the outer most edge of the fixture. Slide the first right angle lug into the end of the fixture as far as it will go. See Figure 5. Using the first screw provided, affix the first lug to the mounting surface. See Figure 5a.

2. Place the second right angle lug inside the track at the opposite end of the fixture. Slide the lug in as far as it will go. Using the second screw provided, affix the second lug to the mounting surface. Proceed to

1. Attach the quick connect power cord with the plug and three pin quick connector to the fixture

2. Plug fixture into a 120VAC/60Hz outlet.

3. This LED Light bar comes with a high/off/low switch, allowing you to select a high-power task light level or a low-level ambient light.

Linking Installation

1. Attach additional fixture with the 18" (45.72cm) quick connect cord provided in the installation kit. A maximum of 40 fixtures can be connected together. See Figure 6 and Figure 7. (See product label located on the fixture for electrical rating.)

2. Attach the quick connect power cord with the plug and three pin quick connector to the fixture closest to the outlet. See Figure 6 and Figure 7.

IMPORTANTES CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

Cette barre lumineuse à DEL est munie d'une fiche polarisée (une lame est plus large que l'autre) afin de réduire le risque de choc

électrique. Cette fiche ne peut être insérée dans une prise polarisée que dans un seul sens. Si la fiche ne peut être insérée complètement dans la prise, inverser la fiche. Si elle ne peut toujours pas être insérée, communiquer avec un électricien qualifié. Ne jamais utiliser de cordon prolongateur sauf si la fiche peut être insérée complètement. Ne pas modifier la fiche. Lire entièrement la procédure d'installation avant de commencer. Ne peut pas être utilisé avec un circuit gradateur.

PROCÉDURE D'INSTALLATION POUR APPAREIL ENFICHABLE

Planifier soigneusement l'installation avant de fixer la barre lumineuse à DEL. S'assurer que le cordon de 1,5 m (5 pi) atteint bien la prise électrique la plus proche. Pour les installations de cuisine, le montage recommandé pour la barre lumineuse à DEL est à proximité du rebord sous les placards de cuisine comme il est illustré à la plan de travail.

• Consulter un électricien professionnel local ou un entrepreneur-électricien local si l'installation n'est pas claire.

• NE PAS ESSAYER D'INSTALLER LE LUMINAIRE LORSQU'IL EST BRANCHÉ.

• Choisir un endroit de montage adapté et sec (pour utilisation intérieure uniquement).

S'assurer que la surface de montage peut supporter le luminaire.

• Il est recommandé de percer dans la surface de montage un trou d'implantation de 1/16 po (0,15 cm) pour les vis à bois.

Position de montage à la verticale

1. Placer le luminaire là où il doit être monté. S'assurer que l'interrupteur sera accessible une fois le luminaire monté. Marquer la position du luminaire à une extrémité avec un crayon.

Il s'agira du bord le plus à l'extérieur du luminaire. Voir la figure 1. Placer la languette à l'intérieur de la ligne et fixer avec la vis fournie en passant par l'orifice rond sur la surface de montage.

2. Faire glisser le luminaire sur la languette montée jusqu'à ce qu'il bute. Voir la figure 2.

3. Placer l'autre languette légèrement à l'intérieur du rail à l'extrémité opposée du luminaire, de telle sorte que l'orifice de montage rond le plus à l'extérieur soit visible. Voir la figure 3.

4. Avec la deuxième vis fournie, fixer la seconde languette sur la surface de montage.

5. Refaire glisser le luminaire sur la seconde languette de telle sorte que les deux languettes soient complètement masquées à la vue. Voir la figure 4.

1. Placer le luminaire là où il doit être monté. Marquer la position du luminaire à une extrémité avec un crayon. Il s'agit d'un repère. Il s'agira du bord le plus à l'extérieur du luminaire. Faire glisser la première languette à angle droit dans l'extrémité du luminaire aussi loin que possible.

Voir la figure 5. Avec la première vis fournie, fixer la première languette sur la surface de montage. Voir la figure 5a.

2. Placer la seconde languette à angle droit à l'intérieur du rail à l'extrémité opposée du luminaire. Faire glisser la languette aussi loin que possible. Avec la deuxième vis fournie, fixer la seconde languette sur la surface de montage. Passer aux instructions relatives au branchement et au raccordement en série.

Instructions relatives au branchement

1. Brancher le cordon d'alimentation rapide munie d'une fiche et d'un connecteur rapide à trois broches sur le luminaire.

2. Brancher le luminaire dans une prise de 120 V c.a., 60 Hz.

3. Cette barre lumineuse à DEL est dotée d'un interrupteur élevé-arrêt-faible qui vous permet de sélectionner une lumière d'intensité élevée pour l'exécution de vos tâches ou une lumière ambiante de faible intensité.

Installation de raccordement

1. Raccorder un luminaire supplémentaire avec le raccord rapide de 45,72 cm (18 po) fourni dans la trousse d'installation. Au maximum 40 luminaires peuvent être ainsi reliés. Voir les figures 6 et 7. (Voir l'étiquette du produit situé sur le luminaire pour connaître les caractéristiques électriques.)

2. Fixer le cordon d'alimentation rapide munie d'une fiche et d'un connecteur rapide à trois broches sur le luminaire le plus proche de la prise. Voir les figures 6 et 7.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD

Esta barra de iluminación LED tiene un enchufe polarizado (es decir una clavija del enchufe es más ancha que la otra); esta es una característica diseñada para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Este enchufe encajará solo de una manera en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja por completo en el tomacorriente, inviértalo. Si aún así no encaja, llame a un electricista profesional.

Nunca lo utilice con un cable alargador a menos que el enchufe pueda insertarse por completo. No modifique el enchufe. Antes de comenzar, lea todo el procedimiento de instalación. No se debe usar en un circuito atenuador de iluminación.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE INSTALACIÓN PARA ENCHUFE – EN LA UNIDAD

Planifique detenidamente la instalación antes de montar la barra de iluminación LED . Verifique que el cable de alimentación eléctrica de 5 ft (1,52 m) alcanzará el tomacorriente más cercano. Para instalaciones en cocinas, se recomienda que la barra de iluminación LED se instale debajo de los gabinetes cerca del borde frontal, como se muestra en la Figura 1. De esta manera logrará la mejor distribución de luz en toda la encimera o superficie.

1. Coloque el dispositivo en la ubicación donde desea instalarlo. Compruebe que se tendrá acceso al interruptor una vez que se haya instalado el dispositivo. Marque la posición del dispositivo en un extremo, con un lápiz. Este será el borde exterior del dispositivo. Ver

Figura 1. Coloque la orejeta en el lado interior de la línea y, a través del orificio, fíjela a la superficie de montaje con el tornillo provisto.

2. Deslice el dispositivo sobre la orejeta de montaje hasta que se detenga. Ver Figura 2.

3. Coloque la otra orejeta un poco hacia el interior del carril en el extremo opuesto del dispositivo, de modo que se pueda ver el oraificio circular de montaje que queda al exterior.

4. Usando el segundo tornillo provisto, fije la segunda orejeta a la superficie de montaje.

5. Deslice el dispositivo por sobre la segunda orejeta de modo que ambas orejetas queden totalmente ocultas. Ver Figura 4.

1. Coloque el dispositivo en la ubicación donde desea instalarlo. Marque la posición del dispositivo en un extremo, con un lápiz. Esta es una marca de referencia. Este será el borde exterior del dispositivo. Deslice la primera orejeta en ángulo recto hacia el extremo del dispositivo hasta donde llegue. Ver Figura 5.

Usando el primer tornillo provisto, fije la primera orejeta a la superficie de montaje. Ver Figura 5a.

2. Coloque la segunda orejeta en ángulo recto en el interior del carril en el extremo opuesto del dispositivo.

Deslice la orejeta hacia el interior hasta donde llegue. Usando el segundo tornillo provisto, fije la segunda orejeta a la superficie de montaje. Consulte las instrucciones de enchufe y para interconexión.

Instrucciones de enchufe

1. Conecte el cable de conexión rápida en el enchufe y el conector de conexión rápida de tres clavijas al dispositivo.

2. Enchufe el dispositivo en un tomacorriente de 120 VCA/60 Hz.

3. Esta barra de iluminación LED viene con un interruptor de tres niveles alto/apagar/bajo, lo que permite seleccionar un nivel de luz para tareas que requieran alta potencia o una luz ambiente de bajo nivel.

Instalación para interconexión

1. Se pueden conectar dispositivos adicionales con el cable de conexión rápida de 18" (45,72 cm) provisto con el kit de instalación. Se puede interconectar un máximo de 40 dispositivos juntos. Ver Figura 6 y Figura 7. (Para obtener las especificaciones eléctricas, consulte la etiqueta del producto ubicada en el dispositivo.)

2. Conecte el cable de conexión rápida en el enchufe y el conector de conexión rápida de tres clavijas al dispositivo más cercano al tomacorriente. Ver Figura 6 y Figura 7.
